(CNSNews.com) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) endorsed the idea of a “global” tax on stock trades and other financial transactions, saying the estimated $150 billion in annual revenue from such a tax could be used to help fund more stimulus spending.
At her weekly press briefing on Thursday, Pelosi said the financial transactions tax (HR4191) currently before Congress would have to be made “global” to keep U.S. investors from taking their business overseas and out of taxable reach.
The House speaker said that a transaction tax could be imposed in conjunction with congressional efforts to divert funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), with funds from both going to fund a second stimulus spending package. (The first stimulus bill, $789-billion, was signed into law by President Barack Obama on Feb. 13, 2009.)
“I believe that the transaction tax still has a great deal of merit,” Pelosi told reporters. “The concern that many of us or others have had is that it will send, it will send transactions overseas.

Yup, their eventual goal is not income taxation, but wealth confiscation wherever you are when hyperinflation kicks in. We are trying to get out before everyone else figures this out and the stampede begins.

Now your linked article tells me two Republican Senators cosponsored the early bill for Obama, and that: House Republicans were caught off-guard, unaware that the pro-U.N. measure committed the U.S. to spending hundreds of billions of dollars.
I'm having a hard time swallowing all this in one gulp this morning.

I was taking the heat from a friend the other day about the subject of this being out of our hands.......With everything that has unfolded so quickly, and the American people putting Obama in office, (which still completely baffles me) there has to be a divine purpose in all this....This one world global/government goal is too obvious if you look at it from the point of Revelations.....The entire world seems to be in favor of all countries having a cultural/economic tie......From a Revelations standpoint that would fit......I was accused of having no faith.....Quite the contrary, I believe prophesy will be fulfilled regardless of my resistance or prayers for God’s intervention......
