Palin: Obama birth certificate 'a fair question'

Speaking to the conservative talker Rusty Humphries today, Sarah Palin left the door open to speculation about President Obama's birth certificate.

"Would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?" she was asked (around 9 minutes into the video above).

"I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don't have a problem with that. I don't know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers," she replied.

"Do you think it's a fair question to be looking at?" Humphries persisted.

"I think it's a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records -- all of that is fair game," Palin said. "The McCain-Palin campaign didn't do a good enough job in that area."

McCain's campaign counsel has said the campaign did look into the birth certificate question and, like every other serious examination, dismissed it.(continued)

On her Facebook page she has been churning out essays regarding many issues - not that the media is reporting on them, but the PEOPLE are seeing them (her supporters, and the leftists who have subscribed to be “up” on what she is saying).

Well, he COULD produce it — he could release the long-form or whatever original records were submitted to the Bureau of Vital Statistics, but obviously he doesn’t WANT to do that. He has had them “sealed” — and I can think of only a handful of reasons to do that, and none of them good for him... (Except perhaps if it listed a different father that was a US citizen - but then we would’ve seen it all by now if that was the case...)

It is signed by the administrator and the attending physician. There is no mention of the citizenship or immigration status of the parents.

of Live Birth,” which lacks certification from the attending physician or other state-certified witnesses of the birth, any alterations, the hospital of birth, etc. That remaining information would be on Mr. Obama's original birth certificate, which he continues to hide from the public.

However, let’s do some fact checking on Mr. Miller.

Now mind you, Joe Miller has NO document forensics experience or training from which to meticulously differentiate true from forged documents. Also, as a trained "journalist," he's learned to trust the sincerity of Chicago politicians at face value. BUT, he does have a Ph.D. in Philosophy, and that helps a lot in being THE confirmation source of THE document that reportedly confirms Obama’s birthplace.

Joe Miller and others at Annenberg's FactCheck.org were “chosen” to receive a copy of Obama’s birth certificate from the Chicago Obama Campaign office a few months before the election.

Unknown to most of the public is that Joe Miller was also a staff writer at the Mack Crounse Group, LLC of Virginia.

This is what I was afraid of all along, that a case would be lost by incompetent prosecution and set a precedent that we wouldn’t see off easily. For anybody who can’t be bothered to follow that link, the result of that case wasn’t dismissal due to standing or jurisdiction; the judge found that 0bama was a Natural Born Citizen on the basis of shoddy evidence.

Although Rusty’s program airs live at 9 PM the station I listen to replays it at 2 AM. I make it a point to catch it every time! If I had to choose just one conservative talk show host he would most likely be the one. I like them all, some more than others, but across the board he seems to cover the things I find interesting and spends little time hyping himself.

This is an issue I’ve avoided because I figure if there was really something “there” - then people smarter than me would figure it out.

What gets me is this - everytime I sign my kids up for a sports league - or a summer camp - guess what they ask for?

I had one son who was large for his age and we were always accused at baseball games of fudging his age for an advantage.

So I started copying his BC to hand out to anyone who challenged us.

Now he’s 16 and we’re about to go the DMV go get his driver’s permit. Guess what they’ll ask us for? Yup - his certificate.

Everywhere I go - I’m expected to prove my childrens “legitimacy” with their certificates.

It REALLY is ridiculous that the President of the United States simply would not show his certificate like the rest of us do all the time.

I’m not claiming to know what is, or isn’t on the durn thing, but clearly he doesn’t want any of us to see it.

And how did Obama get a Fulbright Scholarship when those are not available to American citizens?

There are a lot of unanswered questions.

I've asked one that I don't think I've ever seen the answer to: "Has anyone ever checked Obama's mother's passport records to see what country she was in at the time of his birth?" If she was in Kenya, he couldn't have very well been born in Hawaii.
