3 Trees Said to Prove Warming!
--snip--
That's another thing, folks. People said, "I don't get why you believe in God, Rush. Your belief in God, how does that tell you that global warming is a hoax?"
Well, belief in God is a very personal thing, but I happen to believe in a loving God of creation -- and I just intellectually cannot accept the fact that a loving God which has created all this beauty and has blessed this country -- I cannot believe that a God like that -- would punish the human being he created for progress, for improving the quality of his life. No longer do we have to follow plow mules in the fields. No longer do we have to have kids out milking cows. We have enhanced human life, the life experience, the quality of life, the standard of living. I refuse to believe that a God who created the universe would create creatures who, by virtue of improving their lives and making progress, would destroy another part of His creation.
It just doesn't compute in a logical sense. If you don't believe in God, then you probably are a global warmist or a liberal...

Ping!
Go google——— briffa + yamal
Lot more than three trees are involved
This fraudulent British scientist named Keith Briffa cherry picked which trees and tree rings would be in his study to show climate over the centuries. His selection of trees showed rising temperatures since man has been burning fossil fuels in great amounts
Steve McIntyre took the original data (he spent years trying to get it) and when trees were neutrally selected there is no temperature rise
Yamal is in Siberia where they like to select trees and tree rings to study. Long lived trees there I think
Thanks DW...long time, no see!
Well, that's probably the second silliest argument I've ever heard against global warming. I mean... there was the whole flood thing...
Massive global warming, and massive global cooling has already happened, and will likely happen again. The question is whether we can or should think that is our fault, and whether we can or should try to kill our economy and the economies and quality of life for many developing nations on the trumped up idea that we can or should try to stop it.
What cause of the flood had to do with men improving their lives?
I’m not really convinced that man not plowing his own land or his kids not milking their own cows is universally considered an “improvement”.
But your mileage may vary.
