That’s what I think. Seems like most of these sickos don’t have an original idea in their brains.

I grew up in Tualatin too, from 1980-96, when I got married and moved all the way to Sherwood :).

I could never gut it up enough to jump off the trestle. I didn’t know what was more terrifying: the nasty soup that was the Tualatin River or the jump itself.

Ah, the old Blue Mountain dog food factory. I can still remember the smell. I miss the Dairy Queen that was right across the street from that place.

““The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep... “

That line is so familiar but I haven’t heard it in so long. What is is from?

Happened 1/2 mile from my office. Saw the police taking off towards the shooting. Coming back from lunch they did have some streets blocked off w/busses and fire trucks. Lots of people losing their jobs around here.

2 dead murder suicide and a couple injured from broken glass.

Pray for America and Ft Hood

Nice sleepy little town that got Californicated in the 80’s growth surge...same thing is happening to Sherwood now.

Yeah. Tualatin proper is a sort of island of sanity in the metro area. Tigard, not so much (IMO but then I don't live there, just seen it up close a few times).

No name yet 3-1/2 hours into it, so it's probably not a Smith or even Jenkins. I would lean more toward it being Mexi than Muzzie, but there are the erstwhile spun out home grown tweakers.

The little I checked of late indicates a “domestic” dispute.

Now let's not jump to conclusions! Perhaps it was the Cambridge police shooting citizens and acting stupidly!

Yeah, domestic, that sounds good. They should probably go with that this time.

The lesson here, unarmed people are sitting ducks.

Arcades where the ducks shoot back don’t get return business.

Well, they could go with “drug related”.

All those veterans, serving members of the military, and their families will be in easily identified places tomorrow.

No tinfoil needed.

Keep your eyes open tomorrow, patriots.

The Fred Meyer is less than 1/4 mile north on the east side of Martinazzi. Bushwhackers is about a 1/4 mile to the WNW on Tonka.

"...Things have sure changed..."

Same with New Hampshire—which borders on Liberal Massachusetts. Do the math.

The Oregonian site has what appears to be fairly good update on this.

Updated today at 3:42 PM

SNIPPET: “TUALATIN, Ore. - Police say at least 2 people are dead and at least two other people are injured after a shooting at a suburban strip mall in Tualatin, Ore.

Police received the call around 11:45 a .m. Tuesday of a man armed with a rifle firing multiple shots at the Legacy Medical Lab, a drug testing center at the strip mall.”

SNIPPET: “Witnesses said they heard as many as 10 shots fired.

“When I was driving up to get a sandwich at Subway, one of the injured was running across the parking lot. So we grabbed her and she was sadly covered in blood and had lots of injuries on her face, arms and hands, like she had gone through glass,” said Mike McNeil, witness. “She said a man had run to the building and shot the glass, then came inside and starting shooting shots.””
