Republican Dede Scozzafava endorsed her former Democratic opponent Sunday in the race for an upstate New York congressional seat, one day after Scozzafava dropped out of the contest.
Scozzafava dropped out after Conservative Party candidate Dough Hoffman experienced a late-in-the-game surge. But on Sunday, Scozzafava backed Democrat Bill Owens -- the announcement was made in a statement send out by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
"I am supporting Bill Owens for Congress and urge you to do the same," she said. "In Bill Owens, I see a sense of duty and integrity that will guide him beyond political partisanship. He will be an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York. Bill understands this district and its people, and when he represents us in Congress he will put our interests first."

That's because of two things. Their "pack mentality" is animalistic in nature..... just as their anti-God, anti-Christianity stance is also hedonistic in nature.
It would be extremely inconvenient for them to follow God and ergo to renounce their carnal pleasures. The other reason is that they know what lengths their side will go to silence any oppostion and they are unwilling to be a victim that has thusly been silenced (just think about all those deaths under the Clintons for a reference and then multiply it x100 to come close to what will happen under the current 'thugocracy').
How much money was spent on this debacle by the GOP?
And they wonder why I don’t give to them....
Newt is such a goof. He wont support Conservatives and tells us to vote for a person because he is a republican. No more, Newt. And this goes to Hannity. You lose your rep everytime you have this douche bag on your show as a represntative of conservatives. For now on have him on as a representative of the RINO branch of the GOP.He is now considered a enemy agent. He can neck pelosi on the couch for I care. The GOP will never see another cent of mine until we expell these turds.
Something pissed this woman off between yesterday and today. My guess is the RNC reneged on one or more of their promises they made to her to get her to drop out.
Mark "Newt" Davis won't back down, or apologize for getting this so wrong. His head's so big, I'm not sure how he gets in and out of the studio door.
Like every other big name Republican who backed Scuzzy, he's got some serious crow to eat before people will take him seriously again.
I'm not holding my breath for it, though. I'm much more interested in hearing what El Rushbo and Mark Levin have to say about all this tomorrow.
Wouldn’t surprise me. I suspect that was Diddly Dee’s intention all along when she dropped out.
Get ready to count the chads.
Could it be that the “big tent” was just a meme with which to begin the marginalization of conservatives?
Whoa, a blast from the past. I haven't heard that term since I was a teenage stoner.
Party on, dude. It's all copacetic.
No, lack of principle and self aggrandizement before GOP. Dede and Doug both.
no doubt in my mind that she was a Dem or a homo backed person to infiltrated in the GOP
I’m glad more people are starting to wake up to this reality. This race has certainly opened up a lot of eyes to the possibility.
The eyes of a treasonous bitch. One that should be punished....along with all the other treasonous bitches (RINOs).
Where there's no principles to guide it.
Sure.
In 2008, as head of the DCCC, he recruited conservative Democrats to run in Republican districts to ensure Dems kept control of Congress. Since it's looking more & more likely that Republicans could regain control of both the House & Senate in 2010, he might be doing the same thing in reverse... recruiting liberal Dems to run as moderate Republicans in Republican districts - so they could fill the "spoiler" role currently played by Blue Dog Democrats. That was an unexpected consequence of Rahm's 2008 strategy... but he could be planning to use it to Dems' advantage in 2010.
In which case, Scozzafava might be just the first of many liberal Dems to masquerade as Republicans.
Look at http://www.tcotreport.com/ for the way Scozzy was put on the R Line.
completely disagree. RNC got duped and the White House had a lot more goodies to offer - big money, big cushy job.
