So the family takes a vacation this week to Disney (no escaping it for me) and one of the highlights is the "Alladin" stage production. really pretty cool.
At one point, just after Jafar (the bad guy) captures the magic lamp, Genie says:
"Hey, Jafar, why are you so angry looking? Why the long face? I mean, I just made you Sultan, and you didn't even earn it!...
What do you want next, a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE?"
The place erupted. The crowd definitely "got it" and we were laughing so hard (this is what, 2000 people?) that they delayed the next lines for a bit.
It would be great if you got it on tape (did you?)
That Actor will never work again... he’s under Actors’ Equity Union Contract... I’ll bet he’s not working tomorrow.
Equity will be the one with the PITCHFORK and disney will have the TORCH.

That’s hilarious! We’ve seen the show a number of times over the years, and the genie always has some funny lines that relate to current events. Slowly, but surely, it seems to becoming “ok” to mock BO. We’ve had SNL go after him and now Disney. Of course the day we see Letterman crack a joke about BO is the day he endorses Palin for President.

Part of the Genie was Originated by ROBIN WILLIAMS, so I guess Disney should expect ANYTHING, from Whoever is playing the genie.
Disneyland recently had the GAY DAYS festival from oct 4 until 6, and was even on the huge corner screen on Hollywood and Highland where I usually drive by.
Gay days included the first Sunday of Oct - new pin release day. I had no idea it was Gay day until I saw a second couple of guys in matching t-shirts. I seriously thought about leaving but stayed for pin trading. The only sign of the special day was a small bowl of rainbow Disney pins at the cash register.
