On September 10th of this year the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) posted a press release informing the world that from October 19-25, more than 60 network TV shows [will] spotlight the power and personal benefits of service, and that this unprecedented block of TV programming is the first wave of a multi-year I Participate campaign.

I haven’t watched any network television in years. Not once.
Although it is becoming more blatant and direct (which should make people think), this is nothing new. The ruling classes have been brainwashing the unwashed masses for eons: from proclamations and plays, to books, magazines and newspapers, to movies and T.V. Many would also include, some, if not all, religious institutions in this mix. Through these mediums (combined with laws and force when “needed”), they tell us how we should act, what we wear, and what we should think and talk about.
on demand... = answer to this problem...
Not just directed to you, but television ownership, yay or nay, is not the point. The point is political ownership of our minds, person, ideology and property.
As an aside, I wonder if Fox refused to participate and this is a secondary reason why ostammer and his thugs are so hacked off at Fox.
Here is the list.
Network shows that will feature volunteerism in some way during the week of Oct 19th include:
ABC
All My Children, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Brothers and Sisters, Castle, Cougar Town, Dancing With The Stars, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Flash Forward, General Hospital, Good Morning America, Grey’s Anatomy, Hank, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Modern Family, One Life To Live, Private Practice, The Forgotten, The Middle, The View, Ugly Betty
CBS
Cold Case, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Gary Unmarried, Ghost Whisperer, Numb3rs
FOX
America’s Most Wanted, Bones, Brothers, COPS, So You Think You Can Dance, Til Death
NBC
30 Rock, Access Hollywood, Community, Days of Our Lives, Heroes, Parks and Recreation, The Biggest Loser, The Office, Today Show
It stops being volunteer service when you are compensated in any way.
I think I will do that one day of work with my family and get a free day at disney. I already do much service work through my church :)
These fools have NO idea what service is.......
How old?
not my kids..*LOL*.......Kelly and Bud
Alo Presidente! coming soon!
Are they real hamburgers? :)
Frightening, yet there it is, just like 70-75 years ago.
Trust in and Serve The One, and save the country.
I don’t watch TV anyway.
I’d love to see a show with an “I volunteered at a tea party protest” theme, but of course that is not a state-approved message.
Most of all, I’d like the government to get its nose out of this business!
I saw this shite coming.
An ammo locker sits where by TV used to.
Yeah.........and it’s always either a black guy or a woman “straightening him out.”
I (white female) have been griping about this for years now. White men are depicted as morons, goofballs, geeks, totally uncool, useless objects of disrespect and derision. Then, either a really cool, non-ghetto, non-ebonics speaking, clean-cut black guy with his pants pulled up correctly or some eye-rolling, snippy, disdainful white priss corrects him or informs him or fixes something for him. White America needs to start a very vocal boycott of the companies that run these ads as well as the networks that run them. It needs to be done with solidarity and consistency. White males are the only group they dare depict this way, and I’m sick of it.
Nice!
Yes they certainly do.
I just wrote to the NFL, and that’s the exact same point I made to them.
I explained that the politically correct tactics they are utilizing today, materialized in 1930s Germany. I went on to explain that demonizing individuals and groups was a very dangerous thing to do.
“Perhaps you’ve heard of how negative that turned out for NAZI Germany. What the hell are you folks thinking?”
History is repeating itself. We know have a fascist ruler and the demonization has begun.
How ironic that it coincides with my own personal "Do It Your Own Damn Self And Leave Me Alone!" campaign.
