As a moderator of discussion on the blog www.exposeobama.com, Floyd has observed the discussion of impeachment is mushrooming amongst conservative activists.
Radio personality Tammy Bruce may have captured these activists' beliefs about Obama best: "Uultimately, it comes down to ... the fact that he seems to have, it seems to me, some malevolence toward this country, which is unabated."
But has Barack Obama committed an impeachable offense? What exactly constitutes an impeachable offense? Former President Gerald Ford, while serving in the House of Representatives, said an impeachable offense was "whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."
Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution reads: "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."
The key phrase here is "high crimes and misdemeanors," a concept in English common law well-known to our Founding Fathers, but grossly misunderstood in this day and age. "High crimes and misdemeanors" essentially means bad behavior.

Actually, I should like to see the “above-the-law” congress removed from office. With such stellar examples as: Charles Rangle [Tax Evasion], Barney Frank [prostitution ring run out of his domicile], John Murtha [Traitor: giving aid and comfort to our enemies by corroborating their accusations of war-crimes AND slandering/demoralizing our armed-forces]... and so forth.
I would first ask you, to explain why you believe it’s simply incompetence. Let’s start with you since you originally made the comment. I’m responding with my observations of the news and research. But I’m interested in your conclusion of simple incompetence.
Dont impeach him. Let him stay in 1600 Pa., and let him continue to be the huge lightning rod that he is. In 2010, change the diapers on the House by changing the balance of power to the Conservative side and take a big bite out of the Dim ass in the Senate. THAT will neutralize the Zero and he can continue to demoralize his own party making it easier for us to unseat him in 2012.
Impeachment efforts will just make the Dims and MSM (sorry if I’m repetitive) more ornery and pouty than they already are. More importantly, it will bring out the race hustlers big time.
And, we have a winner!!!! Indeed, remove Obozo and control goes to someone who is even less aware of his surroundings and more power would be deferred by default to Pelousi. That's a lose-lose-lose combination. Focus should be on 2010 and 2012 rather than Impeachment (which is really just a pipe-dream given this congress). Batten down the hatches and weather the storm until then folks.
