Sometimes, 18 kids is simply not enough, so Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tonitown, Ark., are expecting a new addition to their household this spring.
That's right, at that point they will have five more children than Nadya "Octomom" Suleman and 11 more children than Jon and Kate Gosselin. Wow.
"We are so thrilled," says Michelle, 42. "We just can't believe it is happening."
You can't, Michelle? Not after the previous 18 times you were pregnant?
Her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, 44, agrees: "I never gets old. We are so grateful for each child. We look forward to our first grand baby and 19th child."
Their first grandchild is due soon, as their oldest son Joshua, 21, is apparently getting a fast start in joining the family profession of making humans.
He and his wife are expecting a daughter next month, who will be older than her new aunt or uncle: "I think it is going to be awesome," Josh said.

Nor have they appeared to use any birth control.
IMO this was a baby they tried to have. Just my opinion.
They shop at Goodwill and other thrift shops. They aren't Wall Street advisers.
It seems to me you don’t know what you are talking about. It is “dangerous” for some women to “pop out” even one child. My daughter is law had to have her babies delivered by c-section.
Who said anything about decision?
It's called "having an opinion".
Try it sometime!
It is my opinion that young yuppie couples who chose to have NO children are being irresponsible. But it is not my business to tell them that.
Give me some evidence that Michelle Duggar's health is at great risk. She does see doctors...
There is no connection with what I wrote and your rant. By all means, keep ranting though.
Facts:
They have a boat load of kids already.
She is older and in the range to have poor health child (”what ever” illness baby).
SO:
Why be so irresponsible?
Why should the parent Duggars make choices that could have the rest of the family caring for various sickly children for life when they die?
Why not use protection and not get pregnant after a boat load of kids?
Seems to be a lot of needless risk after a lot of already healthy kids. Why not count the many blessings and be responsible in older age?
So you are saying that it is better to have NO baby than to take a CHANCE that something may be wrong with the baby. Handicapped children are a blessing to parents and SIBLINGS who value life. You don’t sound as though you do. Responsible doesn’t mean preventing pregnancy. Responsible mean taking responsibility for the lives you procreate. The Duggars do that. And yes the Bible is clear that God controls the womb. He opens and shuts it. The fruit of the womb is His reward.
Look at #175.
Notice the worldly anti-family viewpoint that has infected people, even supposedly Christian people.
Most women have fertility issues (not even sure that "most" is true), so Michelle MUST have been working hard to get pregnant? How does one statement logically follow from the other?
I like the Duggars, my wife and I record and watch their show, but now they are losing all credibility.
My wife had her jaw open last night when I told her of #19.
Her response was, “Is she insane”.
My wife also knows of all the potential problems with birth after 35 these days.
I wish for them a healthy baby.
I think the evidence shows that she doesn’t have fertility issues! LOL!
Sad isn’t it.
I celebrate them!
I’m saying they were irresponsible IMO to risk more children at an older age when things can go horribly wrong ESPECIALLY when they already have a boat load of children and that is all.
Plus if they are not lucky to have good health in the next birth, their choices could make the other siblings have to take on the results of their parent’s choices after they die later. Potentially very selfish, whether for themselves, in the name of God and so forth.
Kind of like parents leaving their children the national debt they caused. I see an ethical problem with that.
Maybe they don’t know how to use birth control?
I hope the baby is born healthy.
Good day.
You have no idea what you are talking about. I wish just half the people in this world used as much 'rational thought' as the Duggars. Just because they love having children that they can afford doesn't mean they aren't 'rational'. It just looks that way in your world since you don't know anything about them.
It must be nice making judgments about someone else's life without knowing anything about it but what you have read from a Hollywood gossip sheet. But, you know what, they can take yours or anyone else's trash talk about them because they know who they are and what they believe in.
