Sometimes, 18 kids is simply not enough, so Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tonitown, Ark., are expecting a new addition to their household this spring.
That's right, at that point they will have five more children than Nadya "Octomom" Suleman and 11 more children than Jon and Kate Gosselin. Wow.
"We are so thrilled," says Michelle, 42. "We just can't believe it is happening."
You can't, Michelle? Not after the previous 18 times you were pregnant?
Her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, 44, agrees: "I never gets old. We are so grateful for each child. We look forward to our first grand baby and 19th child."
Their first grandchild is due soon, as their oldest son Joshua, 21, is apparently getting a fast start in joining the family profession of making humans.
He and his wife are expecting a daughter next month, who will be older than her new aunt or uncle: "I think it is going to be awesome," Josh said.

They are. They live debt free in a house that the dad and older sons built. They own alot of commercial real estate and they also have a show on Discovery Health Channel (I think that is the right channel).

Why is it that no one blinks an eye when a woman "chooses" to not reproduce via abortion, and then folks get all worked up and upset when a woman "chooses" TO reproduce.
We're only allowed to be judgmental when it doesn't implicate the PC sacred cows, such as abortion, is that the deal?

Just what business is it of anyone to tell a man and wife how many children they can have? This isn’t China! They obviously are not on public assistance and treasure each child as a blessing from God. A “freaking” child??? How about a loved, welcomed and cherished member of the human race? Oh, I remember, it’s Hollywood! Like Obama, they see a child as punishment.

Awesome. I have a friend who is the youngest of 20 and I was always envious of the amazingly close and loving family she has. Talk about an army of family to protect, nourish and provide for each other. God bless the Duggers...looks like he already has :)
There’s a strange wind a-blowin’ where the rent receipt dries, the flies no longer gather and the ire noisomely rise; a bit of soft tissue, pink as a rose offends now the senses, as well as the nose.
They have never received a dime of taxpayer's money. That is not how they operate. In fact, they run a business which teaches people how to budget and save by buying only what you can afford among other businesses. They built their own home themselves and it is paid for.
I only wish others could say the same.
BTW, IMO, it's no ones business (especially Hollywood Gossip since they rave about Brad & Angelina) since they are paying for them. Who do they think they are to tell anyone how many children they can have?! It would be a different story if they were using taxpayer's money!
