Stop while ahead IMO.
Wow.
Stop while ahead IMO.
Double wow.
They know that each child is a blessing from God even handicapped children.
Stop while ahead IMO.
I'll expand on my "wow" post. I would ask you this: why would you assume that this family shares your "values" (such as they may be) and attitude toward such children? For that matter, why should they care whether you think they should have more kids? And what business is it of yours?
We had one and we had only four, and we were not that old. The lady is a good baby-maker and since they are done the natural way, and in not in a lab, the odds are in her favor.
They believe what God said, that children are a gift from God. Their children are beautiful, happy, talented and extremely well mannered. A lovely family. The children are home schooled.
They and another family, as a surprise, paid for and built a 4,000 sq ft addition to the home of their friends, a family with 12 children. They all did all the building. The young girls in the families laid all the tile. Their friends’ home was 1,000sq ft. They are a pleasure to watch. They love God and live by his word. They live in Arkansas and I believe they have been friends with Huckabee for a long time.
We accepted God's will and resisted the calls to abort.
Guess what? My son is PERFECT. Handsome, smart, healthy, and whole.
But more important, we already loved him, even when we believed that we would have to sell everything just to take care of him.
If God gave me another child, I would happily take it, handicapped or not.
Things are just things. People are what matter.
My mother was 44 when she had me. I didn't spend one single day in special ed, either.
I know the claim you're talking about but I've known several folk who are "menopausal babies" and they seem fine to me. If the Duggars want 21 kids, let 'em have at it.
I agree. I finally became pregnant when I was 35. That's the age when the risk of many handicaps goes up exponentially. The doc put me through many tests, but irregardless the results, I would have kept my child and love him as I do today. Thankfully, he's a healthy child now almost 13. All children are a blessing. It's not my business, but if they are able, God bless them.
Plus most women have fertility issues at this age. She must have tried hard to get pregnant.
you are a lib
It’s best if women stop having kids by their mid thirties, that’ll save the child from Down’s syndrome (my younger sister was born with it and lives with it to this day).
