The Silverton, Oregon, city council has censured its transgender mayor.
Mayor Stu Rasmussen admitted to wearing an open-back bathing suit, mini skirt, and high heels when he spoke before a group of children at a non-profit organization. A person attending the speech was displeased and filed a complaint.
Andrea Lafferty is with the Traditional Values Coalition. "This is a man who's dressing like a woman. He was born a man. He has male DNA. That cannot change," she believes.
Lafferty says the idea of making the appearance in front of children is an affront to parents who do not want their children exposed to deviant lifestyles. She encourages people to challenge the mayor's behavior.
Andrea Lafferty (Traditional Values Coalition) "People shouldn't be intimidated. I think it's great that people are objecting. I think it's great that they pushed the city council to vote, even if it was just to say that the man was dressed inappropriately," she notes. "He needs to behave, particularly around children. He should be kept away from kids."

I just fell out of my chair laughing at this sicko!
Yup. I posted in a thread earlier today that you know you have a problem with too much FR when you can't stop referring to Beeber Creek.
It is a lovely area, by the way, though I could have done with a few less roundabouts!!!! Good gosh, I'd think that an area that is nearly always crawling with tourists who are quite likely unaccustomed to roundabouts would be the last place you'd install 5,000 of them. It's sort of a cruel joke! I just gripped my steering wheel and breathed a big sigh of relief every time I made it out of one alive! :)
Slackers!!!!!
GUILTY!
GUILTY!
GUILTY!
Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Oregon Ping List.
Hard to believe that the conservative town of Silverton EVER elected him in the first place.
> That’s a rather weak definition of mental illness.
Speaking as somebody with mental illness (bipolar and clinical depression) I wonder exactly what you mean by that?
> Yes, I’m sure your perspective is much more nuanced than mine.
Not nuanced, but probably better informed.
> How many of these mentally ill people have had themselves mutilated and then had a change of heart? What happens to them then?
Are you aware of many cases where this happens? It may well happen, but it doesn’t appear to happen often enough to be a significant matter for concern. I have never met anyone where that has happened, have you?
I am unaware of any mentally ill people being mutilated by the medical profession, at least not in modern times. Are you aware of any?
> He the micro miniskirt in such a way as to make it possible to see his equipment if he bent over.
Trying to picture how that would work. If he bent over people could probably see his arse. I don’t see how bending over would expose his wedding tackle at all, unless he had some bizarre slit up the front...
Silverton is anything but conservative.
He got himself a fake set of norks, but the downstairs plumbing is original, and he says he's going to keep it.
Your image is roadblocked. I searched Bing for “tula” and found some pictures, but I think that my porn filter kicked in or something because I can’t copy any of them.
Anyway, he’s a Bond “girl,” Caroline Cossey, who was born Barry Kenneth Cossey.
Oh, be series.
I’m not going to speak to your personal issues.
Must find the melon ball scoop for my eye balls.
Funny you should mention those stupid things!! Hubby and I actually went through that area on our Motorcycles a few wks. ago, and those things are downright dangerous! We figured it’s a new-age hip libtard thing. aaargh... that and stopping to eat at a restaurant, and listening to 2 (probably jobless, as it was a Monday) oh-so-hip guys talk loudly about how “Rumsfield got out of it, but that evil Cheney is gonna get charged for war crimes, etc. etc.etc. “
We figured it was for our benefit, as hubby had a shirt w/a support our troops patch, and a POW patch.
LOL
