We can’t know if 0 was full-term, because we don’t know the birth date. We only know what he has told us, what was on the phony COLB, and that there was an announcement placed in the Honolulu newspapers, which signifies that the birth had been registered with the Dept. of Vital Statistics.

He could have been born earlier and anywhere.

It seems likely that, whatever fiction he’s weaving around his birth and childhood, he would be least likely to lie about the DOB.

However, I still wonder if Stanley Ann was already pregnant when they left Washington and if that might have been the reason for the hasty move. He may have been born earlier than he says, but that wouldn’t allow Obama Sr. to claim paternity.

BTW, these were not the only Kenyan students here during that era. My husband had a classmate at Northwestern from Kenya (I’ll have to get the name when he gets home) during the years 1956-1958 — a little earlier than Obama. I wonder how he got here? My husband knew him from activities at the International House.

Northwestern was NOT the University of Hawaii. For one thing, Northwestern was a highly rated school in several disciplines and a very expensive one, as it is now.

University of Hawaii in those days was considered a place to go to study “underwater basket weaving”, or so the joke went. It was NOT a place to brag about as your alma mater.
