A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office. His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders. "We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!" She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons just revoked."

You know him, you ping him. I don’t.
Maybe but only while this administration is in office. If it is ever proven that Obama is inelligible, his actions would be viewed as heroic.
I don’t know him. There’s a Breaking News thread annoucing he’s a Freeper.
And since I wasn’t the one assaulting his character, I had no reason to ping him.
After all, if the Army rescinded the order,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Why is the rescinded order valid? What order ( if any) should the Major obey?
I believe a court somewhere should set this straight.
Isn't it true that orders that are revoked can also be reinstated?
How do we know he won't receive additional orders for deployment by tomorrow afternoon?
Not National Guar - Army Reserve, so the Governor does not come into play.
This action by the military (TOTUS) has unquestionably set a clear precedent. If the military thinks that by sidestepping this case and dealing with the major in other ways via USMJ, they are making a serious mistake.
I seriously hope that the major understands that this battle is far from over... and that he shouldn’t just “carry on” as a victor, because now he cannot follow “ANY” order he receives for the same reasons.
What “Order” can he legally follow now?
What “Order” can be legally given now?
Hell... they cannot even discharge the man legally if you think about it...
Talk about constitutional crisis!
It will ultimately be left to the Supreme Court to legitimize the authority of this TOTUS or have him removed ASAP before this gets too far out of hand!
The administration is just buying time now... and I think they know it.
This is significant.
St. Michael, be his defender in battle ..
Welcome back from your sabbatical!
You both bring up some interesting questions and points.
The Maj., has a long way to go before this is over.
As I wrote before, will see if others follow and how fast.
What will it do to our Military?
It took Clinton 6 plus years to destroy our Military, 0 is doing it in months.
Major Cook has not called the war in Afganistan or Iraq illegal as Ehren Watada did and refused deployment.
Big difference, don't you think?
“Is this what they call a smoking gun”
Nah, it called a smoking birth certificate!!!!!!!!!!!
My quick answer is that in context - none of those situations were under a faux “president” or fraudulent “Commander In Chief”.
There is no reconciliation in context. Arguments as to whether or not we should ever have set foot in Iraq or whether the ludicrous claims that Bush did not legitimately win the POTUS are not parallel arguments as to whether or not an individual is eligible to even run for an office - let alone set law once in that office illegitimately.
Decisions of a President can always be argued. But a person WILLING to deceive the entire world for the sake of power is an entirely unprecendented and potentially catastrophic event yet to unfold.
I hear your points and they are valid in their own context - but this is not the same subject. Would you agree?
(Although I fully disagree with those who claim Bush ‘stole’ the office or went into Iraq as payback or over oil.)

>>> Could someone explain why there was TWO hospitals named of his birth and where was he born?
Can someone tell me if abortion clinics can issue valid birth certificates when their procedure fails?
Not saying anything about the health centers in question here, but the question on why two hospitals just got me thinking “what happens” if you are born in one place and taken to another?
What happens if you are delivered in a car? or in the ambulance? or in an elevator? Do you still get a valid birth certificate???
