Still, even his explanations tend to end with a question mark, like this one earlier this year: I see absolutely no reason for Texas to leave. But if Washington continues to disregard the states and continues to try to force states to change the way that they govern, who knows what may happen?

I’m w/ you Mama! Two sets of great grand parents came to Texas in covered wagons. Im’a grandparent myself. I’ll take these summers w/ a smile if we are free from Tyranny!
"Fixin' to" - You'll fit right in, darlin'!
y'all/yall: This is short for "you all" and refers to a group of people. Some say, it's not a proper English contraction but it is in Texas (and in other places in the southern US) because everyone uses it.
Also.........drop all Gs.....i.e. haulin, doin, goin, headin, fixin..
The real test in Oklahoma and Texas is whether you can fry eggs on the sidewalk.
I learned that as a mere chile in the hottest year on record, 1933.
Back at ya......"But don't expect to screw the us when we are gone!"
Show me a list of which ones have been ruled unconstitutional and I'll answer. I'd prefer not to rely on your opinion alone.
No, YOU'RE talking about Texas presidents because YOU are the only one who thinks where a President is from is somehow relevant. It is merer ANOTHER of the straw-man arguments you are famous for.
You're saying that where you're from has nothing to do with what you do?
Texas won't NEED a club. If you think you're owed something, send us a bill. I'm sure we can come to an agreement.
Why not come to agreement before you depart? Doesn't it make sense to settle all matters of disagreement before separating?
Constitutional authority, please.
That figure was arrived at by calculating Texas' percentage of the total population and multiplying it against the national debt at the end of Bush's term. I won't make you pay for Obama's part.
A right to some kind of remuneration in no way, shape or form can interfere with the right of a State to take action if the federal government acts against the best interests of the State.
And if your actions harm the interests of the rest of us do you expect us to just sit back and take it?
Once you're gone I don't expect there is a whole lot we could do. I'm just concerned with the mechanics of the separation.
Whining fits and purse-slingin.....?
Sure, there are plenty like the Bush’s that came down here from the dying rust belt, the urban squalor that is the Northeast, the land of fruits and nuts, but mostly from across the Rio Grande. Many assimilate in our suburbs. All are welcome as long as they don’t chant the refrain, “That ain’t the way that we did it back in....”
Wow...OK in the summer of 33...hot, dry, and dusty red.... I'd imagine you experienced a few dust storms....
Like all ex's.....you want it all...and the attorneys are the winners...but not this time.
He who asserts must also prove. You know enough about the Law to know that much.

No, it makes more sense to get out from in front of the disaster that's rushing toward you, THEN worry about the particulars.

Generous of you, but your neither your calculations nor your generosity constitute constitutional authority. I'd prefer not to rely on your opinion alone.

No, I expect the collectivists will sit back and whine while the individualists will [hopefully] join us.
Let me put it in terms even YOU can understand-
The federal government has no more authority to force a State to stay in the union because they feel 'owed' any more than YOU would have the authority to make me stay somewhere because YOU felt I 'owed' you something.
That's what the courts are for.

As far as Presidents incurring some kind of larger debt because of where they're from, that's just...........nonsensical. :-)
“Remember, we already kicked Mexicos ass once.”
No, “we” didn’t. Our forefathers did 150 years ago. We can’t seem to protect our borders or enforce existing laws when it comes to Mexico.
I'm originally from SoCal, and that place can be as hot as the fires of hell in the summer.
I now live in Texas, and aside from the additional discomfort of the humidity, it's not all that different in the summer.
Them, and the nearly 100% of able-bodied males who own guns here.
Since you are situated on an ocean the water problem is easy once you get rid of the libtards and that is desalinization plants, as many as you need to build to make the water you need. All or our coastal states need to be doing that, but of course that would take one of the means of control away from the libtards so they won't allow it.
Dittos here, she is definitely a high gloss politician (every word shiny, glossy, carefully nuanced, but you really have no idea what she stands for except she wants to not alienate anyone). She is like the epitome of the country club Republican in my view.
Correct assessment on that. I can't understand that many people do not see that we have a dangerous TOTUS leading us into socialism.
Secession! Oh sure, screw the constitution and walk away. Let the Nazi socialist democrat party destroy the union and the constitution. I and many others took an oath to defend the constitution and not to take the gutless and useless approach of abandoning it. I still take that oath seriously but apparently some here do not or never have.
