That was the original screenplay idea, and it was poo-pooed overwhelmingly in test pitches. GI Joe as we see it in the theater will be an all-American force, just like we remember.

Yeah, great acting I’m sure, definitely on the scale of CASABLANCA, ON THE WATER FRONT, GONE WITH THE WIND, et. al. Its just a fast action film with computer generated special effects, like an up graded video game. The stars are the effects. I guess I’m too old to appreciate these movies. I find watching them in a theater as disturbing to my ears, as the guy in the next lane of traffic, with his super bass speakers blasting. And, I don’t wear a hearing aid!
