The Winds Of Civil War: Illinois-Driven Marxist Attempt To Conquer Union
Pat Dollard ^ | Feb 20, 2009 | Pat Dollard

New Hampshire fired the first shot. Although 7 other states have similar pending resolutions and bills, Oklahoma is the first to actually pass one. Another 27 states are expected to make similar moves in the coming months. That’ll leave the country split 71-29.

Now, before you get too excited, bear in mind that all of this was likely Obama’s goal. Boiled down, all of these state measures are threats of secession. Recall, if you will, Obama’s obsession to be the 21st Century Abraham Lincoln, and his ominous calls to recreate and rebuild America. Who was Lincoln? Why, he was the man who “preserved” the Union by way of implementing military force against states that had seceded. Lincoln knew full well that he would not be preserving the Union, but that he would be conquering sovereign nations, and that he would then have to destroy their cultures and ideologies, remaking both in the image of the North’s. And that is precisely what happened in the aftermath of Lincoln’s war of aggression. He didn’t preserve the Union, he changed it forever and handed unprecedented powers to the Federal Government.

Okay, so now I’m going to run with a theory.

Noted, it is just I wanted equal time for General Grant. He is rarely mentioned when the topic of the Civil War comes up. Why has history casted him in such a negative light?/Just Asking - seoul62......

I pray for what you say. We need God and those who have taken our oath to preserve and protect ... and we are facing a mysterious domestic threat.

The more time the Usurper has, the worse it will be.

There is no way Liberty can be protected if we continue to wait for someone else to stand up and "make the motion." By the time the necessity of taking up arms becomes obvious to sufficient numbers all the lines of supply and communication will be closed off. The time for deliberative assembly ended in November, and in reality long before that. The only course open, at the beginning, are a thousand anonymous acts of resistance. Anonymity: The Ultimate Mass Movement.

Thank you.

Reading numerous original accounts of the civil war. Folks turned the initial marshaling into fairs and boisterous events. A year or two later, uprooted women and children where force to travel for hundreds of miles without food and drinking water from mud holes in the road.

The founding fathers left us an out. Hopefully we are wise enough to take advantage of their forethought!

Thanks for the post!!

" ... The South was fighting for states rights, but it was misplaced over defending slavery ..."

That was only a part of the reasons.

"There were many reasons which brought on the conditions which culminated in the war, which necessitated the vast expenditure of money which is exhibited in the table.

The doctrine of States rights, protective tariff, internal improvements, and in fact all the questions upon which the Democratic party differed with their political opponents, entered into the question; but as history seems to contend that the existence of slavery was the main cause ...

My state of residence is a write off - Michigan - as we’ve been blown away by a foreign liberal Dem.

Foreigners, Libtards, Dems: Round 'em up and ship 'em east on trains. Michigan is way to cool to lose to the Blues.

That’s all fine, good and well, except for one thing.

There’s apparently a “Fox News Dynamics” Poll which shows over 50% of the respondents to be of the opinion that the Fed gov. owes everyone free housing, free food, free medical care, and a job “if they want one”.

That’s the constitution that’ll come out of a modern-day “Constitutional Convention”.

Welcome to FR. ;-)

Seems like we're teetering on the edge of the alright. 50% believe the Fed owes them. 1/3 of the states are blue.

I do not suggest it would be easy, only that it would be far better than a CW2 or the 1982 Big Brother scenario. Both of the later I believe will lead to a break up of the US as predicted by the Russian economist or whatever line of work he is engaged in.

There is a risk of course. It could be reduced if the purpose would be defined and adhered too.

Thanks for the welcome and your comments!

On 1/27/2009 Obama signed an exective order to bring 200-250 thousand people in from the GAZA strip all paid for by us.

Is this the beginning of his national police force?

I think it would end up being city vs country myself....logistics will be on the country side as the cities will be surrounded and in poor supply after a month.

John Titor Ping!

Titor was only 4 years off in regards to predicting Barry's Socialism(a.k.a. American Federal Empire).

http://www.johntitor.com/Pages/CivilWar.html

There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005(2009). That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015(2019), Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska.

-----

And if there's who still doubt the Titor stuff, he even predicted that there would be a President who would constantly compare himself to Lincoln, like Barry is doing now;

"The President or "leader" in 2005(2009) I believe tried desperately to be the next Lincoln and hold the country together but many of their policies drove a larger wedge into the Bill of Rights."

Sir, there is an alternative:

The constitution allows the states to call a constitutional convention any time they like.
The sole purpose in this case would be for:

1. Ratification of an amendment repealing the 16th amendment.

2. Granting states sole responsibility for the collection of taxes from individual citizens and business except for tariffs.

3. Restrict congress from creating any law or taxes not specifically related to granted authorities as defined by the constitution.

Currently approximately 2/3 of the States are Red States. I believe a 2/3 majority is what would be required to ratify the constitution.

The 16th amendment gave birth to the Federal Government monster and the states are the ONLY entity that can possibly reign in the feds.

If it can be repealed we will have a much better chance of stopping the destruction of America. As part of the act of repeal, congress may not create any law not specifically related to its constitutionally authority.

Now is the time. The polls indicate a very low congressional approval of around 11%? Congress has overstepped its mandate considerably.

Almost half of the state legislatures are considering or have representatives preparing to introduce resolutions which reassert the principles of the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution and the idea that federal power is strictly limited to specific areas detailed in the Constitution and that all other governmental authority rests with the states.

Now is the time. Please contact your state and local representatives and ask them to please consider the above!
