Obama is now set to reverse or repeal Bush's Executive Orders, but he may leave the last one alone because, on first appearances, it looks helpful to his transition.

But the big question is "Besides aides and advisers, who else is covered by this? What happpens when an investigation is launched? Could Obama stop it in its tracks by repealing this EO?

I'm going to give the OPM a call tomorrow and find out.

I’m not some intellectual elitist and I come from a humble background. I grew up in Oklahoma as a lower middle class blue color suburbanite from the Oklahom City area. Except for periods of military service (not more than 4 years). Most of the first 51 years of my life were as a citizen of Oklahoma. I worked as a low paid Oklahoma state employee for over 20 years. I moved to Missouri almost four years ago to work for DoD as a mid-level GS employee. I’m not from the stratosphere. Those are my disclaimers.

Now that being said, when I listened to Ed Hale the first time, my reaction was “this dude is an uneducated Texas hick that is painful to listen to because of his mannerisms and speech.” He struck me as being some old man hanging out at the old barbarshop.....lots of opinions but very little knowledge. Is he sincere? Yes, the same way the guy in the barbershop is. Is he a reliable source of information? No, no more than the guy in the barbershop is. Subsequent listenings have reinforced my initial impression. Listening to Mr. Hale is like having to listen to some of my really backwood relatives and in-laws - nice people, but not very well informed and very boring to converse with. God Bless em!

OB may have issued EO, but don't the still have to pass the AG office and in fact be cleared as being constitutional? Looks like he missed a step.

We always turn the news on in the AM to see what's happenin...This morning the common-tater was listing all of Bo error/missteps on his first day. Made a comment about in being amateur but said he suppose we might give him the benefit of doubt and then listed the errors again......Funny how he made his point....amateurs??

I found this on a website. Members of Congress are not subject to Title 50, Chapter 15, Subchapter VI of the United States Code, which lays out the rules for security clearance. To quote from that subchapter, "Except as otherwise specifically provided, the provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to the President and Vice President, Members of the Congress, Justices of the Supreme Court, and Federal judges appointed by the President." When I went into the US Code website it read something totally different. So Obama could virtually be a terrorist with a lot money behind him who started weaving his life story beginning with his books, then Obama used thug type tactics to win the Illinois senate, then used money and media manipulation to get to POTUS. Because he was elected he now has clearance to all intelligence and the ability to start a nuclear war? Not to mention set us firmly on the path to the NEW WORLD ORDER. Someone tell me this is wrong.
