LETTER TO EDITOR: Supreme Court accountablity

I stand amazed at what I am witnessing in our constitutional republic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Constitution the rule of law in this nation? Don't Supreme Court judges take oaths promising to protect and uphold that Constitution from foreign and domestic enemies? If our laws are derived from this text, then what is it called when those laws are ignored? It is called, "breaking the law."
Our Constitution lays down the eligibility requirements for presidents. One requirement states that the president of the United States must be a natural-born citizen. Now, any reasonable thinking person knows citizenship is proven by one's birth certificate.
President-elect Barack Obama's presentation of a Certification of Live Birth certified that he was born alive but not that he was born in Hawaii. So we have rumors of a Kenyan birth. How do you get to the bottom of rumors? You inquire and investigate.
Our Supreme Court judges are required to uphold our law and get to the bottom of this unnecessary upheaval that Mr. Obama has hurled America into. What's so hard about producing a real birth certificate? He is challenging our rule of law by refusing to prove his natural-born citizenship and is, therefore, undermining the foundation of our nation.
If our Supreme Court justices continue to deny "hearing" the many lawsuits that they are being presented with concerning Mr. Obama's citizenship, then they are failing to do their jobs. The law states eligibility through natural-born citizenship is required. It is the court's duty to get to the bottom of this and hold Mr. Obama accountable to the law.

While I agree with the overall sentiment of the letter, I’m not sure it’s the SCOTUS’s responsibility to run around checking peoples paperwork. It seems to me that in order to get on the ballot in any given state the validation check should be performed by the state elections office. It seems to me that the procedure would be for someone to file a case against a given state elections office saying that they did not do due diligence and then it could be run up the flagpole to the SCOTUS.
No one, not one living American soul, has “standing” with the SCOTUS, so Barry’s burf records will remain a state secret. The various Secretaries of State (save a handful who fought it and lost) gave Barry a pass. The Electoral College gave Barry a pass. And no one in Congress acted to question it. We have moved away from a society of laws, to mob/thug rule.
If the media actually did their job instead of kissing obama’s arse then this would be raised and Americans too would be wondering why he is not wanting to show his birth certificate.
I do not know if he is eligible or not but there is only one way to prove this and that is by showing it, plain and simple.
All I know is that he does not want to show it, his relative said she saw him born in Kenya and the other relatives have all been hushed up.

Obama shows his guilt for all to see, by not producing the document required.
The soft racism of lowered expectations is on display.
No one will press this issue and get the first 1/2 black pres-elect disqualified.
The guy is golden, untouchable.
Even if he WAS born in Hawaii like he says, he shows more affinity toward foreign nations than he ever has toward decent, patriotic, Judeo-Christian America.
All I know is that Obama's underwear is gonna start turning funny colors on inauguration day when he actually has to start making decisions instead of voting "present" while throwing accusations at the adults currently making the REAL decisions in this nation.
And if Obama's transition screw ups are any indication, we are in for a laugh a minute the next few years.
PLUS, there is that less often mentioned and pesky issue of felony FRAUD in perpetuating this grandiose lie.
And it boggles the imagination, the number of accomplices involved to pull it off.
My bank is closing January 19th in celebration and honor of General Robert E. Lee’s birthday.
My take on it as well. This is going to haunt him nonstop. He should have settled the question at the start, now it's going to be his undoing.
