Yesterday I made a decision that will affect my personal buying habits and choices.
I have realized that American unions do so much political harm these days and I have decided to do whatever I can to avoid purchasing any union made product or service.
Since they have done so much to push socialism in this country, I figure it's high time that entrepreneurial rugged individuals like myself stop supporting them. Many of us avoid Chinese made items while ignoring our own domestic Marxists.
It's time for a change they weren't expecting.
I have no idea what is made by a union.
Toyota here I come...
You couldn’t have come to this conclusions *before* the elections, could you? Of course not...
I have, for a long time, avoided union products to the best of my ability and knowledge. My song was:
“Look for... the Union lay bull... and buy something... ELSE”
We must:
1) Reduce your taxable income (to zero) however you can - there are several ways to do this, pay for a good accountant to get it done.
2) Reduce your participation in the economy - just buy essentials, HOARD the rest of your wealth, protect it from looting.
3) Get on as many public assistance programs as you can - crash the system. You can appear to be destitute by putting all of your assets in a trust or LLC.
avoid those confiscatory taxes
I know American vehicles are unionized. Makes sense that the Toyota and Honda plants here in the USA are not experiencing the problems the US auto makers are
The real ‘problem’ unions are the public employees unions & the teachers’ unions. They are the only sectors that have been growing & they are politically the most radical. Also, you can’t ‘not’ support them unless you stop paying taxes & voluntarily go to prison.
Very little in the USA. Unions are only in about 20%. They are however in 70% of government so you could stop using government services.
Those that are also Union but do make anything are longshoreman and truckers that get you the stuff the communist chinese make.
“) Reduce your taxable income (to zero) however you can - there are several ways to do this, pay for a good accountant to get it done.”
Is this possible if you have a job?
Here’s another thought. A friend of mine owns a landscaping business. He has noted who put BO’s signs in their yards. Guess whose rates for landscaping and snow removal will go up the most next year when .gov increases his taxes and other costs of doing business?

“card check” will pretty much guarantee that all the transplant auto factories will be unionized within a few years.
That and supreme court justices will be the devastating legacy of yesterday’s election.
I believe all toilet paper manufactured in the US is union made. This will present, uh, a sticky situation (no pun intended). Also paper towels - just about any paper product is made by labor union members.
Excellent suggestions! Along the lines of hoarding wealth, I’ve been wondering if there might be some legal way of removing one’s $$$ from the U.S. banking system altogether. Anything Obama and his congressthugs can lay their hands on isn’t safe, and that includes funds and trusts.
Already doin’ it. :)
This seems to be a reoccuring “theme”. We’ve been doing this already to a large degree, but I think we’re going to go 100% with it now. :-)
Exactly...the biggest unions now are public sector employee unions. And, right, unless you stop paying taxes (and sit in jail)....you will continue to fund them, indirectly
In fact, so few things are made in America anymore, the chances of buying products “union made” are pretty slim.
And, if you buy something made in Communist China...you are subsidizing Communism....most of those products are either made directly by the Commie Chinese govt...or by those who must curry favor towards the ChiComs to operate factories and businesses.
In fact, if you truly want to rid the US of unions...drop the free trade deals with Commie China. You will never convince someone in a union to support a candidate who supports a policy that will take his/her job away.
Your choice: American’s in unions or the Chinese Communist Party
