What will be your first tipoff as to the final outcome of the election? Will it be the weather forcast a few days before the election? Will it be the reports of where voter turnout is the heaviest? How about the speed with which some of the first states will be called? What's your tell?
Many of us have devoted numerous years to charity. Sometimes it amounts to thousands of dollars per year. Once Obama starts taking our money, will we be as generous? We work hard for our money. We will be punished for our efforts.
RE: “One thing for sure, many of us give lots to charity. If Obama wins, those days are over. He is going to raise our taxes to take care of people who refuse to get out and work hard? If he punishes work instead of rewarding it, who the heck is going to want to work for charity? Government will be doing that work!”
*************
Not only do charities lose, our overall spending goes way down, and many of us remove ourselves from the economy as much as possible. I’m going the John Galt route to the greatest degree I can if Obamination “wins” on 11/4. Atlas is Shrugging big-time here.
Seriously, the great, great concern is that VA is close enough that they "call" it for Obama, and McCain ends up winning it, but that the early call of VA will be enough to allow them to say the "election is over" and depress the GOP vote so as to actually make it happen.
I will no it’s over when they start calling states for obama with 1/2% of the vote tallied and calling states for McCain with double digit percetages talled as “too close to call”.
I’m a big fan of the weather factor. The feckless will skip voting if it rains, or is a little chilly.
With Sarah, I have vowed to upgrade my usual crawling on broken glass to vote, to swimming through molten lava, if need be!
The Gay Lobby would love to have thge Knights of Columbus designated as a Hate Group.
gasp......HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH
When FNC’s numbers guy calls it...of course it may then be a matter for the courts...
When Zogby and Rasmussen stop cooking the books.
It’s how long the big city precincts in PA, NC, FL or VA don’t report. The longer they stay out, the more fake votes they are stuffing into the computers. The longer those states don’t get called, the worse off we will be. Those states need to report McCain early.
If two or three of those states go 0bama early, it’s over. If they stay “too close to call” as late as 11:00 p.m., the fix is in for 0bama.
One other caveat while I’m wearing my tin-foil hat: Given the obvious bias of the msm, I wouldn’t be surprised if they lied about the results and called all four of those states for 0bama early. Then the real voter fraud occurs while the Republican poll watchers are demoralized, and 0 gets his win in the morning.
I really believe the fix is in this time. This is a rigged election, like you get in other totalitarian states.
When Chris Matthews tinkles down his leg..
Indiana. The Hoosier state closes its polls at 6 p.m. If the state is too close tp call, or goes for Obama, that’s it.
I’m going to zone out for election night. I don’t have the stomach for it. Don’t know when I’ll turn the TV back on. Maybe in 2012. I can’t handle it if Obama wins. I work at a very liberal university, and I don’t want to see the gloating faces of all the liberals on campus if McCain goes down.
A plague of toads, trolls, locusts, and black goop oozing from the walls will mean that the Obamunist is likely to win.
That I believe!
When Chris Matthew’s tingling feeling up his leg becomes a burning sensation.
One good clue: watch where the Third Infantry Divisions First Brigade [and other CCMRF-tasked units] is sent to. They're now headquartered out of Peterson AFB Colorado, the former NORAD HQ, though the Division's troops remain at Ft Stewart, Georgia, real handy for deployment from Hunter Army Airfield.

The 3rd Infantry Divisions 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent 35 of the last 60 months in Iraq patrolling in full battle rattle, helping restore essential services and escorting supply convoys.
Now theyre training for the same mission with a twist at home.
Beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the 1st BCT will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks.

Furthermore your non-call scenario is spot on.
