Joe Wurzelbacher, a.k.a. "Joe the Plumber," said Friday he may consider running for Congress in 2010, challenging longtime Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D) in the Toledo-area district.
"I'll tell you what, we'd definitely be in one heck of a fight," Wurzelbacher said during an appearance on the Laura Ingraham show Friday, "but, you know, I'd be up for it."
“I hope to God that this kick starts the citizen-politician(movement).”
Just like the guys on the money meant for it to be.
Term-Limits and/or the FairTax are two popular swamp-draining campaign tools.
The fiefdoms on the Hill must end now.
Imho, passage of both issues are required to secure a ‘Firewall from Tyranny’ so that The Republic will witness easier passage of Liberta’s Torch onto future generations.
You know, for ‘the children’. . .
We must also address a few misguided amendments, like the 17th; with the original Bill o Rights being strengthened.

Joe reminds me of Jason Hawes from Ghost Hunters. Roto Rooter by day, ghost hunters by night(:
He has more experience too, like WORKING an honest days work. And paying lawyers to get his son back instead of being a sleezy ACORN lawyer scumbag who pals around with unrepentant domestic terrorists.
don’t do it Joe... Washington changes people.
Maybe. But do not discount the influence that this man has had....directly or indirectly.
Run Joe, Run! We need plain speaking folks like you in the house. Thats what the Framers of the Constitution wanted. Think of men like Davy Crocket and Old Abe Lincoln. They all served in the house. We got too many Lawyers in the place now, we need some blue collar workers in DC.
As Ted Nugent put it recently, he found that Palin not being a lawyer (while Obama and Biden are) “refreshing”. Maybe Palin should slyly remind people of that...
Oops, that was supposed to be:

There, fixed it to help your memory.
I agree and everyone who is an elected government official needs to read Davy Crocketts book “Not Yours to Give”. While they are at it they may also want to read the Constitution and the bills they are voting on. LOL:)
There are.
I know what you are saying, you know...but for the time being....alll of those "I means and "you knows" aren't a bunch of lies....like I mean, you know what I'm saying??????? Just think, all the congress critters without the ability to innunciate. Watching CSpan would be like watching a never ending filibuster. Nothing would get done. Perfect.
If that’s what you say, then how can we ever get a decent person into political office?
My plan for the legislative branch (and possibly the judicial) is for them to stay in their individual districts 24/7 365.25 days a year.
then connect them electronically for doing the nations business. this would dry up the cesspool on the Potomac caused by leftist socializing. let them socialize with the people they are suppose to be serving.
RUN JOEY RUN!!!!
The MORE pissed off Republicans that run against these communist b*stards, the better off the country will be.
I agree—too many lawyers in DC. Lets have real folks hold office not Ivy Leaguer ambulance chasers.
