Timber (left) was a pure German Shepherd, now deceased. Ranger (right) is a Belgian Tervuren. Lots more pics of both of them on my home page.

Paris is right next to the CPU as we speak! He likes the vibration of the cooling fan. :)

Laugh or cry stories....good evening, MamaB. I can just see the dog scarfing down the cake as fast as he could, knowing someone was going to stop him. I, too, am suprised he wasn’t sick.

Fortunately, I haven’t had the “pleasure” of having a dog get something off a table....always waiting for something to drop to the floor.

This is my cat Minette.
She is a rescue kitty..her mother and siblings were abused and poisoned by some rotten kids.
A friend of mine rescued Minette, and asked me if I wanted her.
She was a scrawny, flea infested mess when I adopted her.
Now she is healthy and happy!
She "talks" alot and will answer you if you speak to her..
She is my surrogate baby.
She loves to bring me "presents", i.e. Frogs, mice, salamanders...
We never did find out why she only has 1/2 a tail.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

BLESS THIS HOUSE
 Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Paris is a rescue dog - he was obviously in someone's home but for whatever reason, ended up outside for a year or so. The local animal control person was tracking him and trying to trap him for months and finally caught him. He was destined for euthanasia but she was captivated by his mournful eyes and put him on the web on Petfind where we found him. After a brief interview we adopted him and have now had him for over 8 years. It has been a most felicitous association.
