Paris is a rescue dog - he was obviously in someone's home but for whatever reason, ended up outside for a year or so. The local animal control person was tracking him and trying to trap him for months and finally caught him. He was destined for euthanasia but she was captivated by his mournful eyes and put him on the web on Petfind where we found him. After a brief interview we adopted him and have now had him for over 8 years. It has been a most felicitous association.

Sapphire is a stray who was taken in by our son, John. We learned that she was one of a litter of kittens that was turned out by the owner and left to fend for themselves. She has been a most happy addition for our family. I don't have any pics uploaded of our second cat, Ace - he also walked into the house with the assistance of my sons. We are not sure, but he may be from the same litter as Sapphire. He was more feral and took longer to settle down but has been another nice addition to the family. Our boys have three Leopard Geckos named Lois, Wammy, and Yaimey. That is the extent of our pet family.
