Family Told Obama NOT To Wear Soldier Son's Bracelet... Where is Media?

Barack Obama played the "me too" game during the Friday debates on September 26 after Senator John McCain mentioned that he was wearing a bracelet with the name of Cpl. Matthew Stanley, a resident of New Hampshire and a soldier that lost his life in Iraq in 2006. Obama said that he too had a bracelet. After fumbling and straining to remember the name, he revealed that his had the name of Sergeant Ryan David Jopek of Merrill, Wisconsin.

Shockingly, however, Madison resident Brian Jopek, the father of Ryan Jopek, the young soldier who tragically lost his life to a roadside bomb in 2006, recently said on a Wisconsin Public Radio show that his family had asked Barack Obama to stop wearing the bracelet with his son's name on it. Yet Obama continues to do so despite the wishes of the family

We shouldn’t get hung up on the words, “Truth Squad”. It makes sense to have an organized group in your campaign whose purpose is to ferret out untruths about your candidate and refute them. Obama’s “Truth Squad” seeks to PROSECUTE critics! Therein lies the glaring and dangerous difference.

For the most part the media will neglect to report this type of story. But, this doesn’t mean that you don’t have the opportunity to get the news to the news yourself. Take a few minutes to go to your local newspapers web site and sign up to take part in their forums. This is a great way to start getting hidden stories out to others who are not hearing it.

same here I’m in northern Florida and we do not know of one person, either around here or at my wife’s work.
Every person around here either will vote for McCain or just really hates Obama.

We know of no one who has been polled and the only time we have seen any signs for obama is when we have gone into Jacksonville.

My mother in law from MA is a life long Dem and she is not voting this time around for the first time in her life, my brother in law in MA is voting for McCain

Ther Pravda MSM will not report this. It is up to us to get the word out through email chains, forums like FR, talk radio, and word of mouth.

Obama is a monstrocity to our troops and to the whole country. His own deep ties to the financial crisis (among many other things) prove this.

I’ve been thinking that too. At least the media pretended to be unbaised. Now, they don’t give a rats. I knew it was the end when after McCain SCHOOLED BO during the debates, the media either gave it to Obama or called it a tie.
