According to the The Associated Press, the gay city's Mayor Gavin Newsom has proposed inspecting its residents' garbage. Anyone not properly sorting their garbage will be fined. Do it again and you'll face delousing or perhaps beheading.

This is beyond sick, but what else can be expected from radical leftists.
“Why stop there? Why not come into my home and fine me if I use cloth napkins instead of paper ones, or make sure I am using eco-friendly detergent, etc.”

Great. If San Francisco is doing it, it means that Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels will be implementing it up here within the month.
Here in Germany....most of the major towns now have a couple of garbage inspectors on their payroll. They actually have a staff car and make a couple dozen inspections per day...and hand out fines. The only positive I saw out of this was the illegal dumping of items on public property...that really came to an abrupt end because they tracked folks down (via bits of evidence the idiot left at the scene or a car tag that someone noticed). In those cases, the inspectors made a difference. But the normal household folks....came to hate the inspections and the various notes that would be left behind. Any slip of paper in the regular garbage can....got a reprimand (it has to go in the paper dumpster). I stand here now....with four cans in front of my house. I barely get regular service every two weeks now. The paper can is only taken once a month, and the bio-can every three weeks. This is pretty silly...but the poltical folks won’t back down on this game.

Any state or city that has enough money to inspect people’s garbage deserves to go bankrupt.

So Newsom is going to inspect everyone’s garbage....even illegal aliens?....not his usual MO.
Thats' the thing - you *can't* quit paying for the collection. It's mandatory.

The German garbage fuzz have yet to meet the level of professional dumping in SF. They can't catch anybody that they could get a dime out of, they leave no evidence, just piles of garbage.
Now if they find evidence of child porn, they are to ignore it at is a lifestyle choice, however, failure to seperate glass products from paper products will result in a fine...
They’ll need full hazmat to get near the garbage in SF. Ugh.
I was thinking the same thing--dirty diapers, dog poop, week-old chicken guts, etc. Got a neighbor that's giving you grief? Hate your boss? Throw a few plastic water bottles in their trash can and sit back and watch the fun!
How can they tell whose garbage is whose?
I’d just say that it wasn’t *MY* garbage, that someone left it in front of my home while I was sleeping.
(That, or put the garbage bag in the car, head to a vacant lot... and leave it.)
Make sure your name isn’t on anything in it, such as junk mail.
And liberals whine that right wingers are sheet-sniffers who invade privacy.
