It's been a long time since I've posted a vanity, or any thread for that matter. Sort of found this to be an interesting and timely topic. Flame me if you like, I'm just trying to see what you all think. Have a great day.

What steams me is that he is often identified as a “Republican Analyst.”

Why bother reading his stuff? If you don’t click on his article, then he won’t get the numbers. I don’t read his nonsense.

I threw Pat under the bus long ago. His latest book is just more evidence that the guy has lost it. When I heard him ranting about it, my first thought was “God, how wrong I was to vote for this lunatic in 1996!”

Shovelling sand against the tide would probably be equally as productive. It’s not worth the effort.

Nah! Pat is like everyone’s crazy ol’ uncle that no one wants to invite to the family reunion but shows up anyway. Just ignore him and the guys with the white coats will come for him soon enough.

PJB is the Repub’s crazy uncle. Likeable enough and part of the family, he goes off on insane rants at times, and we just can’t get rid of him.

Someone should run a cat scan on his head to find out what went wrong. A long time ago, he used to be a fairly rational guy.

He is used by MSNBC and others to make fools of us.

Are you just now realizing that?

PB lost any credibility when he jumped the GOP, because he didn't get the nomination;and went over to the Reform party and destroyed it.

PB is sort of like Alan Keyes -- searching more for attention that position.

PJB is the Repub’s crazy uncle.

Sorta like Rev. Wright, you mean? No big deal?

Fox News should have ditched Pat Buchanan.

I have stopped watching Fox News.

Not at all. I never liked the jerk. I'm curious to know if freepers want to email townhall.com, worldnetdaily, and voice displeasure at his being published there.

I think he has interesting perspectives on a lot of things, don’t agree with all he says, but his outside the box thinking is often refershing, IMO

I think that if you were successful in getting Buchanan off the pages of the press as you suggest, then our arguments about the Leftists trying to silence people with whom they disagree will become a little more difficult to defend.

His latest book

Rambling and unreadable. He was a decent writer, particularly short pieces, whether he was wrong or not. Now it's just pap and smear.

He can write anything he wants. But it's a free market. Is there anything wrong with telling a publication you don't like one of their columnists? I'm not saying he should be silenced. I'm saying that conservative publications should not give him a platform. Let him go find a left wing site to publish his garbage.

IMO, Pat can’t be labeled as anyone’s spiritual mentor that is supposedly called to preach the Word of God and pastor disciples of Christ, but instead preaches strife and contention. Old Pat’s just another whacked out egomaniacal politician.

ctdonath2 - great minds think alike, eh?
