Ask Tough Questions? Yes, They Can! (Press vs. Obama)
The Washington Post ^ | March 4, 2008 | Dana Milbank

Posted on 03/04/2008 10:48:33 AM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

SAN ANTONIO It took many months and the mockery of "Saturday Night Live" to make it happen, but the lumbering beast that is the press corps finally roused itself from its slumber Monday and greeted Barack Obama with a menacing growl.

The day before primaries in Ohio and Texas that could effectively seal the Democratic presidential nomination for him, a smiling Obama strode out to a news conference at a veterans facility here. But the grin was quickly replaced by the surprised look of a man bitten by his own dog.

Reporters from the Associated Press and Reuters went after him for his false denial that a campaign aide had held a secret meeting with Canadian officials over Obama's trade policy. A trio of Chicago reporters pummeled him with questions about the corruption trial this week of a friend and supporter. The New York Post piled on with a question about him losing the Jewish vote.

Obama responded with the classic phrases of a politician in trouble. "That was the information that I had at the time. . . . Those charges are completely unrelated to me. . . . I have said that that was a mistake. . . . The fact pattern remains unchanged."

When those failed, Obama tried another approach. "We're running late," the candidate said, and then he disappeared behind a curtain.

Before he beat his hasty retreat, however, Obama found time to assign blame for the tough questions suddenly coming his way. "The Clinton campaign has been true to its word in employing a 'kitchen sink' strategy," he protested. "There are, what, three or four things a day?"

Spoken like a man who had just been hit on the head with a heavy piece of porcelain.

He doesn't know how to handle the tough questions, it seems.

The MSM media does not have the courage to ask the real tough questions.

But I do. Problem is no one is answering.

CNN 13:53-58 (New International Version)

A Prophet Without Honor

53When Barack Hussein had finished these parables, he moved on from there. 54Coming to his hometown of Chicago, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. 55”Isn’t this the goat herder’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Ann, and aren’t his brothers Teddy, Hugo, Saddam and Fidel? 56Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” 57And they took offense at him.

But Barack Hussein said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor.”

58And he did not answer any more questions there because of their lack of faith.

That’s what it is, the Obama Cult of Death. Even Hillary didn’t vote to kill babies already born - even if by accident...B.H.O. did.

Obama will do nothing to change the trends in this society. Rather, his policies will encourage the sinful, destructive behaviors and policies.

Keep in mind that Obama’s father was a Muslim; under Sharia law BHO is a Muslim until he renounces it. If he renounces it, he immediately comes under a death Fatwah. If there was ever a Cult of Death, radical Islam is it.

Another point: Obama refuses to speak out against the mindset of his followers that once older people die off, there will be a new paradise on earth. By not pointing out that all are mortal but one can choose to be immortal through faith in Jesus Christ, Obama is fronting the Cult of Death.

Once, twice, three times a lady.

Ah yes, Dana Milbank, Hillary’s dependable WaPo cabana boy. Lord, it’s funny to see the DBM turn on the Obamessiah finally. What’s going to be even funnier is if this actually HELPS Hussein, which it probably will.

Where’s that mascara-wearing crying Youtube freak? “LEAVE BARACK ALONE!!”

To me, the $64 question is whether Obama is an under-cover Muslim.

There are quite a number of things that persuade me that way. His Kenya relatives, including his violent cousin Odinga, are Muslims, and they greeted him warmly and dressed him in Muslim costume. In return, Obama gave his political support to Odinga.

His pastor in Chicago modeled his racist church after the Black Muslims, and is a pal of Louis Farrakhan, as is Obama. This church is black-supremacist, pro-abortion, and admits Muslims as members without asking them to convert or be baptized.

Obama was born a Muslim, raised as a Muslim, and registered as a Muslim in his Indonesian madrassah, where he studied the Koran and went to the local mosque.

Perhaps most disturbing, Obama now denies (as recently as a day or two ago) that he was EVER a Muslim. This is a flat out lie.

And so far the press has been willing to accept this obvious lie without further question.

he protested. "There are, what, three or four things a day?"

Wow! That's a pretty full plate. Pretty rough stuff, compared to the National Threat Assessment he'd have to deal with, first thing, everyday, rain or shine, drunk or sober, for 4 years

I went to Second City Saturday night. For those of you who may be unaware, it it a satirical comedy troupe that has been running in Chicago since 1959 (it started out at the U of Chicago as "The Compass Players"). Most of the stars of Saturday Night Live has gone through it. They have a new revue entitled "Between Barack and a Hard Place", and the title sketch mocks Barak for his emotional style and his pretense to emphasize with every one.

Aw, man... don’t implode yet!

I want Hillary & Obama duking it out, neck and neck, until the last day of the Demo convention. Then the overinflated Obubble can burst during the general.

C’mon Opie, hang in there for a few more months. Yes, you can.

Hilarious “passage”! You better be careful, lest you get stoned for blasphemy against the mighty Obama.

Maybe your passage should be labeled as Surah 13 ;)

Yes, I saw that also. But let’s face it, it wasn’t real profound and secondly, the Clinton’s have been working the media and hitting them where is hurts, ie questioning their bias and who knows, they’ve probably been feeding the press the material.

Obama, has won this nomination unless he steps on himself. His BEST tactic is to stay AWAY from the press as he has been doing.

The MSM is finally waking up from Obama’s love potion, and they don’t like what they see. But it’s too late to do anything about it. They’re going to have to go to the dance with their empty suit. Too bad, so sad.
