14 Years Later, Mystery Still Remains in the Death of Vince Foster
The New Media Journal ^ | 7/21/2007 | Kathy Miller

Posted on 03/01/2008 12:25:11 PM PST by IllumiNaughtyByNature

14 years ago today, on July 20, 1993, the body of Vincent Walker Foster, Jr. was found in a Virginia park, next to a civil war cannon, with an unidentified revolver lodged in the right hand. Vincent Foster died of a small-caliber gunshot wound to his head.

Vince Foster was not only deputy White House counsel but also the personal attorney to Bill and Hillary Clinton. On the night of Foster’s death, top Clinton aides made a frantic effort to enter and remove documents from his West Wing office. In the days that followed, federal investigators were stymied in their investigation of Foster’s office and strange death.

The following happened within weeks of his death. Vince Foster finally files the missing Whitewater tax returns. On July 19, FBI director William Sessions is fired. Clinton personally orders him by phone to turn in his FBI property and leave headquarters.

That evening, Clinton security aide Jerry Parks' wife Jane says she overhears a heated telephone conversation with Vince Foster in which her husband says, "You can't give Hillary those files, they've got my name all over them."

On July 20, Clinton names Louis Freeh as Sessions' successor.

I forget his exact words, but bill clinton held a little memorial gathering of his White House aides in the Rose Garden shortly after Vince Foster’s death and said to them something like this: “This will teach us that friends don’t betray friends.”

Foster had apparently been having a guilty conscience, and over the previous weekend before his death had asked permission to quit his job. But as the saying goes, the Mafia doesn’t allow its members to quit.

Most of us know what the Clintons are capable of doing....but some reason a lot of FReepers are pushing this aside.

I think Obama will fade by election day and should McCain get a conservative VP he can win.

It is possible the Clintons will sabotage the Obama ticket big time. Id like to hear Obama say he would re-open the Vince Foster/Ron Brown investigations. All hell would break lose!

The real mystery is why two Republican special prosecutors, Robert Fiske and Ken Starr, covered up Foster’s murder.

At the upper levels of society, there are no political parties, just raw power and greed. The masters of the Democrats and Republicans are one and the same.

Bingo! Nail on the head. At the lower levels, the masses are just being rope-a-doped by distractions coming from both sides. While both major parties have the same long term goals.

The clintons are good at hiding things and scaring into silence all those who might out them.

This whole case really stinks. Why is it that when an ordinary citizen is even mentioned in a criminal case, his/her life is turned upside down? His/her personal records, including Internet data, are suddenly the property of investigators. Why is it that the Clintoons have been exempted from that procedure? Taking files from Foster’s office is, in itself, a damning indictment! Why have those who did that not been indicted?

.....Just curious.......

He took care of the money. There were things he didn’t like, got cold feet, honesty attack, and became expendable.

The same was true of Ron Brown.

Thanks for the link. Maybe, someday, we will see some justice.

I’d like to see someone (interviewer, debate opponent) mention Foster’s name to Hillary (in passing, not with any obvious intent), so we could study the look on her face.

This video is what i meant when I said how good an actor Billyboy is. Hillary’s talent in that area ranks with Al Gore and John kerry

Actually, he was found on the back side of a defensive berm at the park boundry adjacent to a private woods accessable by a very close overgrown driveway. The nearest gun was several hundred feet away.

I saw it one Sunday morning and it had a Post it note saying “FReeper midinite Tour” left by FReepers the previous nite (halloween) who were unable to make the Sunday morning tour

The files removed out of Foster's office belong to the super-secret National Security Agency. Nobody in the Clinton staff can offer an answer as to why Foster would have such files.

"Vincent Walker Foster, Jr. "

How dare they use his middle name!! Why, one might think he's related to President Bush!

Regarding Whitewater, it was a land scheme pure and simple, that took advantage of of uneducated investors. Contracts for property were written up in such a manner that if an owner missed one payment they would be in default and the property would revert back to the Whitewater owners.
