The thumb is used a lot in self inflicted gunshot wounds. He could have had the right hand holding it and using the left thumb to apply pressure to the right thumb just before the shot?

Thinking out loud. Its the conflicting reports of GSR on one hand then on both then on none that bother me. Also the history of the weapon and its color as described by eveyone involved. Silver is not blue, blue is not black and black is not blue or silver. IMO

Then maybe the conspiracy theorists will quit mentioning it. The only reason it was ever brought up is the FBI asked what kind of gun did Foster have. Lisa mentioned she helped pack a silver gun into a suitcase for Washington. The FBI agents didn't offer any information at that time to correct her. Read the interview.

Because, if you’re going to fire a gun into your mouth the easiest way is to turn it around barrel facing you and use your thumb. The whole left handed thing is overdone. I’m left handed and can do plenty including pull a trigger with my right hand. It’s not like my right hand doesn’t function.

Shooter, I have read so many reports, books, interviews, etc. about this my head swims. When you say read "the" interview, I have. It is a single piece of evidence in this whole thing.

I do not have time, yet, to piece all the puzzle together but at some time I may. Until then, simply because you have solved it for yourself to a satisfactory position does not mean everyone has. While i respect that opinion, i do not agree to the conclusions you have drawn.

After all, I'm conspiracy minded, by nature.

But what's hard to do is to put both hands around the cylinder, pushing the trigger with a thumb without using the grip to pull with.
