As Sarah Kreager, 26, tried to sit down on a Baltimore City bus Tuesday, police say, a middle-schooler told her she couldnt. When she attempted to take another seat, a middle-schooler wouldnt let her. Finally, according to police, Kreager just sat down.
She was immediately attacked by nine students three females and six males from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.
Kreager was dragged off the bus and her boyfriend, Troy Ennis, attempted to get her back on, police said.
She sustained serious injuries and had to be transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a police report.

They aren’t little.
Too bad there was no bus camera..
Sounds like bull from those parents. We’ve heard that before, where parents of these angels claim the kids were provoked. I wonder if there was a camera on the bus. If not, maybe the city buses should start carrying them.
Forced sterilization would be better. Hell, I’ll chip in.
Another reinforcement of my permanent belief that there should be no such thing as "juvenile" violence, mayhem and murder.
Do an adult crime, pay the adult penalty.
These little thugs should go away for a very long time (permanently, would be my vote of choice).
If said children have a knife or worse?

Sorry, your source of news is on the thread and one of

Eggs Ackley my point. My Stan Getz comment was more about how many people posted about Bernie without reading the full thread. There a 3 or 4 comments that are Eggs Ackley the same! BTW, I am a musician.
The article tells you how old they are.
Great!
Nonsense! They were clearly being bussed.
hmmmm...interesting. The Baltimore Sun idiots spent no time mentioning either race here (attackers or victims) but spent plenty of time listing parents rediculous accusations. I thought nj press was bad. I might have to re-think things here.
I absolutely detest the injection of race into thuggery and ordinary crime. I also feel stupid mentioning the obvious: the driver was probably also black; just not a hood.
I salute and compliment him for doing the right thing under definite "iffy" circumstances.
I agree, but no discussions are likely to result from this despicable crime. Nor historical reminders for the next 50 years...
The conclusion should be obvious, but I'll verbalize it:
What would have happened if Rosa Parks was beaten to a pulp?
Someone recently boarded a school bus after kids threw things at his car and most FReepers were agast that he’d (A) challenge kids and (B) be permitted anywhere near them.
He reportedly noted AFTER he boarded that he had a gun but did not do anything (or even wave it) and there was a manhunt for the driver.
If you have 8 6th graders assaulting you, you may just have to “take it” and put some ice on it later. Or else face having Al Sharpton on your property protesting you as a bigot a child abuser.
Yep. Much worse but still very similar in important ways. I wonder whether those decrying FReeper "racism" on the other thread will come over to this one and sit up and bark for Jesse and Al.
“What would have happened if Rosa Parks was beaten to a pulp?”
Back in those days? She probably would have gone to jail and her assailants wouldn’t have been charged.
People should take your story to heart. I’ve had some of the same experiences with, let’s just say, those of the “hip hop persuasion”. If you’re not wild eyed, crazy, and ready to kill them, they will “own” you. If you’ll notice, they only do it in groups, because courage and heart isn’t something that they possess. Fortunately, when I lose my temper, I’m that way by nature. Your comment about the “crazy white boy” brought home a lot of memories of my youth ;-).
