An ad campaign to counter discrimination against gays has stirred up passions in Italy, using a poster that shows a newborn with the word "homosexual" written on his wristband.
"Sexual orientation is not a choice," reads the slogan on the poster that was going up all across the central-northern Tuscany region and was published in national newspapers Wednesday.
"Using newborns to make people believe that homosexual impulses are an innate characteristic is dishonest and a disgrace," said Christian Democratic lawmaker Luca Volonte.
Gay philosopher Gianni Vattimo said the ad was in "bad taste" and that the slogan was "only partly true."
Italy's main gay rights association ArciGay, for its part, praised the initiative, saying homosexuality is an "unchangeable fact that should be respected."

If not a choice, then it is a birth defect, correct? These people want it to be observed as a choice, but not admit its a choice. If you have any doubt about that, just refer to the idea of curing homosexuality.
If a shot became available tomorrow that prevented infants from developing into homosexuals, you can bet that the libs would seek to make administering it illegal.

For many years it was common for homos to talk about it as “a choice” until they realized it was to their advantage for it to be innate.
Well, it looks like for at least one kid it isn't a choice. Poor kid.
Was he born a transvestite too? Where is the gene for “wear the clothes of the other sex”? We are born naked. Clothes are a matter of function, fashion, and culture.
The desire to wear the clothes of the opposite sex is a fetish.

The dirty little secret is that the Sex Positive advocates don’t CARE if it is natural or not. They want the world to end all moral judgements over ALL sexual pairings regardless of sex, age, number, relation, marital status, or species of partner(s).
It is just a convenient dodge to say “but I was born this way”. Ultimately they want NO moral judgements over sex. NONE. That includes non-scientific things like violent and sadistic sex.
Rape is also an innate characteristic.

The absurdity of this advertisement is that it is a promotion for a gene test and aborting homosexual gene positive fetuses. If it is a gene, then it is detectable and is curable or preventable.
There are a slew of new “twin studies” tests by homosexual activists in the pipeline. Look for another repeat of junk science to be used in court cases.

I think the twin studies are pretty conclusive that it is not genetic. I tend to think it’s the esult of a hormonal imbalance in utero. Being the victim of child molestation is also a pretty good predicter.

Other factors may make one a more attractive target for predators, but same-sex attraction disorder is caused by molestation or homosexual seduction in the pre-adult years, through the teens.
Some victims claim that they weren’t seduced or molested; they are either repressing or lying.
So even if I were to accept he argument that homosexuality was a genetic predisposition (not a given, since abuse and confusion could also drive this disease), it still is no excuse.
We are all sinners.
The message is the same to all of us (although our sins may vary).
Only the LORD can relieve our burdens. Repent and believe and turn yourself over to HIM:

If you want to see a liberal stammer, ask him what his opinion is about folks having abortions if they think the baby is gay.
