ANN COULTER AND THE WOMEN'S VOTE
Nealz Nuze/Wsb Radio ^ | 3 October 2007 | Neal Boortz

Posted on 10/03/2007 5:38:51 AM PDT by Turret Gunner A20

Ann Coulter has a new book. "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd be Republicans." Suggested subtitle ... "You Can't Fix Stupid."

I guess we now know just what sentence, paragraph or thought expressed in Coulter's book is going to be used by the MoveOn Democrat Party and the loony left in an attempt to demonize her.

Here's an excerpt from an interview with Ann Coulter by George Gurley. Here we find Coulter talking about women: "If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women."

The left is sure to jump on this like a crow on a June bug. Thing is .... Coulter is exactly right. Don't take her word for it, just read "Freedomnomics" by John Lott. Here we have a renowned economist going all the way back to the late 1980s to see what happens when women get the vote.

His findings? In every single case, when women were given the right to vote the cost of government immediately began to rise as women, particularly single women, started voting for the candidates who would create more government spending programs designed to provide women with security. That magic word .. .security.

Lott found that young single women overwhelmingly vote liberal. When they marry and start a family they start voting more conservatively. That would be because their sense of security is provided by their family, and they don't want government to interfere in their accumulation of wealth.

Then, if that very same woman starts to feel that her marriage is threatened ... or if she becomes divorced ... she right back there voting for liberals again. Why? Security .. this time from the government instead of her husband. Coulter is right. Deal with it.

If Hillary Clinton becomes (God forbid) the next president of this country, it will be on the vote of young single women and divorcees.

Fact is most women are emotive pro-abort liberals.

What to do?

At this point not much I’m afraid.

But I won’t deny the empirical facts just because some folks don’t like the truth.

I think all of this is just more of our cultural slide.

Coulter is right. Deal with it.

This deserves frequent repetition.

so many wonderful women who have refused to be subservient to men

Women shouldn't be subservient to men. But, a great many if not most of the problems plaguing so many (broken) families would not exist if (1) husbands would love their wives, in part by not shirking the responsibilities as heads of their families, and (2) wives would be submissive to their husbands.

As others have mentioned, when men stopped being responsible men, women naturally and understandably turned to government to meet their needs. ("Nature abhors a vacuum" and the best politicians see those opportunities.)

Better idea - let’s enforce the Constitution and make it illegal for the federal government to expend “on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents”.

Once the government is removed from the role of social security provider, we’ll have a more successful and productive (and moral) society.

James Madison:
“I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”

re: # 95

And they wonder why the right has a hard time appealing to women. ;~)

It’s not the platform, it’s the people. Women who are smart and independent enough to be attracted to conservative platforms have no need for bitter, paranoid, cynical men who would desperately cling to old world views about the role of women in society.

I must be mistaken, but I thought we were mainlytalking about women stupid enough to vote for the evil criminal trash like the clintoons and the democraps.

Heck,
I’m not married (2 for 2 dead and buried)...
I’m at this delightful matriarchal crone stage of my life....The elder female of the clan so to speak.

Me? Submissive?

Heck no, never could be (the submissive females around me were pretty much destroyed, so I vowed that wouldn’t be my path).

But dammit, I still vote conservative...because freedom to be a b!tch is more important than the security of being a pet.

I'm talking about how insulting women and foolishly talking longingly about taking our vote away doesn't exactly invite women voters to your side.

You're only damn lucky that many women appreciate the platform and mission of conservative politics and are willing to overlook some of it's more dated members.

I am not submissive to anyone including my husband....unless we are playing that game some night.

We are a team and we make decisions together. Us against the world.

Well put! ~applause~... and I think Ann, who obviously values her right to be a b!tch, would agree.

Funny thing is the men she attracts by badmouthing women are exactly the type who could never live with her. I've never quite understood that part. Under the description of "nightmare harpy ex-wife" in the Conservative Guide to Divorce could be a picture of Ann Coulter. Human sexual dynamics has never been real logical.

when men stopped being responsible men, women naturally and understandably turned to government to meet their needs

When government started telling women that they would be supported by the government if they didn't have a man around, men stopped being responsible men.

"Nature abhors a vacuum" and the best politicians see those opportunities

Politicians created the replacement to push the man out of the responsible/provider position, making more people dependent on the politicians, ensuring their power.

An example of the differences between the sexes: The Writing Assignment

This assignment was actually turned in by two English students:

Rebecca {last name deleted} and Garry {last name deleted}

English 44A SMU
Creative Writing Prof Miller

Students: Rebecca and Garry

In-class Assignment for Wednesday

Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. One of you will then write the first paragraph of a short story. The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back and forth. Remember to reread what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached.

Rebecca:
At first, Laurie couldn’t decide which kind of tea she wanted. The camomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked camomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So camomile was out of the question.

Garry:
Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. “A.S. Harris to Geostation 17,” he said into his transgalactic communicator. “Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far...” But before he could sign off a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship’s cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his se at and across the cockpit.

Rebecca:
He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. “Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel.” Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth — when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspapers to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. “Why must one lose one’s innocence to become a woman?” she pondered wistfully.

Garry:
Little did she know, but she has less than 10 seconds to live. Thousands of miles above the city, the Anu’udrian mothership launched the first of its lithium fusion missiles. The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace Disarmament Treaty through Congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu’udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion which vaporized poor stupid Laurie.

Rebecca:
This is absurd. I refuse to continue this mockery of literature. My writing partner is a violent, chauvinistic, semi-literate adolescent.

Garry:
Yeah? Well, you’re a self-centered tedious neurotic whose attempts at writing are the literary equivalent of Valium. “Oh shall I have chamomile tea? Or shall I have some other sort of FRICKIN’ TEA??? Oh no , I’m such an air headed bimbo who reads too many Danielle Steele novels.”

Rebecca:
GET SCREWED YOU NEANDERTHAL!!!

Garry:
GO DRINK SOME TEA AIR HEAD

Rebecca:
YOU’RE A TOTAL BASTARD!

Garry:
B*TCH!

(TEACHER:)
A+ - I really liked this one. Only group to get an A

.

Brilliant, and telling.

I can't figure out if insipid products like Oprah, the View and any "women's" magazine created the sappy, man-hating, simple-minded modern woman who will vote for Hillary just because she's a woman or are a reflection of her. I fear it's the latter.

Mind you, I know that not all women are like that but, let's face it, too many are.

And those who take foot-stomping umbrage at Ms. Coulter's suggestion that women shouldn't vote, need to look up the word hyperbole and learn to understand it when they see it. I see her remark as a challenge.

Go up to a group of men and tell them that only women should be allowed to vote. The likely reaction from the men would be to explain to you the negative consequences to society of doing that. Go up to a group of women and tell them that only men should be allowed to vote. Watch the stomping and huffing and puffing.

The difference in the responses is telling.
