THE UGLY TRUTHS THAT NO ONE…..ESPECIALLY MY OPPONENTS ….WANT TO TALK ABOUT!

THE UGLY TRUTHS THAT NO ONE…..ESPECIALLY MY OPPONENTS ….WANT TO TALK ABOUT!

Dear Sittin,

I just returned yesterday from a great three-day campaign swing through New Hampshire. Thanks, as always, for helping make our campaign possible!

Here’s what really struck me on this trip: how much my audiences appreciated it when I spoke to them about some ugly truths that no other candidate, in either party, is willing to address.

Some of these ugly truths?

For starters, the fact that we as Americans are rapidly losing our national identity, our national culture and our linguistic unity!

You and I know this is true. We see it every day, where we work, in our politics, and in our schools. (I talked to the folks in New Hampshire about a program in Oregon, where the state public school system is cooperating with education authorities in Mexico in order to offer Hispanic students in Oregon a Spanish-language curriculum that tracks with the curriculum they have in Mexico! Oregon taxpayer dollars at work!)

As deadly serious as these assaults on our culture and our national identity are, not a single other presidential candidate is even willing to talk about what is happening to our nation, and who is responsible!

That is an absolute tragedy…..and it is one of the reasons I am so committed to continuing to take our campaign’s message to the voters. The Beltway political establishment, its media and my opponents want to avert their eyes from what is happening to our nation, but I won’t let them!

I would really appreciate it if you could make a special contribution to our campaign today, to help give us the resources we need to continue to talk to the voters about the issues that I believe are critical to the survival of our nation. I can tell you that this is what the voters want to hear from candidates for president…..not Fred Thompson trotting out more one-liners or Rudy Giuliani talking, incessantly, about 9/11!

I deeply hope you can help with a special contribution today to help me make sure that we keep the issues of illegal immigration, amnesty and the preservation of our national identity front and center in this Republican presidential race! Thanks again, for your tremendous support and friendship.

Tom Tancredo

P.S. Recently, when he met with President George W. Bush, Mexican President Calderon made a statement to the effect that “Mexico has no borders……Mexico is wherever Mexicans are.” Needless to say, President Bush had nothing to say in response. Isn’t it time we had a president willing to push back and tell the Mexicans that for us, a border means business…..and that their country does NOT exist outside of its borders? Please try to send back a special contribution today so I can keep fighting for the values you and I hold dear!

With all due respect, I believe you are digressing.

What does your post have to do with my comment????

“Has he not heard of Duncan Hunter who has been more effective than Tancredo in securing our borders?”

“Has he not heard of Duncan Hunter who has been more effective than Tancredo in securing our borders?”

All I’m pointing out is apparently the voters aren’t that impressed with either one regardless of which one has heard of the other. Until they [Tancredo - Hunter] can find a way to impress the voters it matters not if one has heard of the other. Campaigns can get wrapped up in minutia and not focus on the big picture of getting the voters support.

"Catholics have never been suicide bombers in this country..."

Is that some sort of suggestion that they were suicide bombers in other countries?

Gee, one of my grandfathers had to flee Ireland because of certain activities back in the homeland. Probably the comment is accurate, but only because of the "suicide" part.

But what HAS changed is that now there’s all these entitlement programs and there’s such as thing as “illegal immigration” now

And what about affirmative action which would give preferential hiring to amnestied(?)hispanics over good old long time honest US taxpayers?

Think about the amnesty legislation last proposed by the Senate (and President). Where did it say: yes, these illegal immigrants should be given amnesty but cannot have affirmative action preference over the US taxpayers who pay pay our (Senators) lifetime salaries and elitist privileges?

Does anybody, I mean anybody, out there understand what an arrogant self appointed bunch of a**holes the US Senate, which controls your life has become (Senators get about two hundred grand/yr for life, regardless of reelection)?

These people are really really elitist arrogant a**holes. Think Arlen Specter, Barbara Boxer, Charles Schumer, etc.

The police authority of government in Hillary's hands

It’s good that Tancredo is coming out about this, but why does he say: “THE UGLY TRUTHS THAT NO ONE…..ESPECIALLY MY OPPONENTS ….WANT TO TALK ABOUT!” Has he not heard of Duncan Hunter who has been more effective than Tancredo in securing our borders?

That's twice he's done that. He also said he wouldn't run if there was a candidate that had been strong on the borders.

Chinese immigrants (”coolies” as they were known) were brought in to build the western railroads. Like our illegal aliens of today, they were brought in because they were cheap labor....as the railroad companies refused to hire Americans to build RRs (hasnt changed...”jobs Americans wont do” BS)

Human nature doesn't change. There will always be those who will sell out any and all ethical consideratons to make an extra dime. I'm stunned at people who are so willing to exploit poor, desperate, uneducated foreigners to achieve it and ask us to pay for it. Absolutely amazing.

“He also said he wouldn’t run if there was a candidate that had been strong on the borders.”

Yes, I personally heard Tancredo say on a shortwave radio interview that he would not run if someone else runs who is strong on borders.

Well, Rep. Tancredo, we have someone who is stronger and more EFFECTIVE than you on the borders.

Fine. You made your point...again. Tancredo and Hunter have spent the last years working their butts off for this country. Net work TV doesn't give them an hour slot every week to 'get known'. The sad thing, some are willing to let an election be determined by star power instead of standing on a good record.

Hunter] can find a way to impress the voters it matters not if one has heard of the other.

You are looking at this strictly from a perspective of polls and media hype. There has not been one Primary yet nor one vote cast. I suspect any voters who know of Hunter are very impressed with him. The ones that don't know of him, soon will, because I am going to tell them. None of the candidates in the so-called top tier can even begin to compete with Hunter in regard to qualifications, experience and past action on the issues of which they can only offer rhetoric. When it is all over, for better or worse, I can say I fought for the principles and ideas of conservatism and did not waver. You can tell everyone you quoted some poll numbers because you bought into the media hype.

Why do campaigns run polls?....... are they also fakes?

I agree that polls aren’t the definitive answer but they do give indications of where the public is at any given time. They will change and fluctuate over time but if the same group or people keep coming out on top then they most likely are the ones on top.

We simply cannot afford to cloth and feed the whole world

Nor can we afford to be the hospital to the world, exactly what the pols are trying to shove down our throats and pick our pockets for (universal medical care, with full coverage for their buddies the illegal aliens.

“there were almost no legal barriers to immigration at all in 1880, as opposed to the stupid, antiquated quota system we have today. “

We have 300 million people in this country. Our infrastructure will not support any great increase. Traffic is a nightmare now and the average commuter spends a week each year sitting in traffic. Just how crowded do you want our country to become? Maybe like India or China?

So...when did the last section of fence get completed? Point here is that they’re not really competitors when it’s the status quo establishment versus just the two of them.

Hunter has “the electable look” over Tancredo and a fine record but, as others have pointed out, he’s getting the same media cold shoulder. Those who believe they know what’s best for us have already written them out of the equation.
