THE UGLY TRUTHS THAT NO ONE…..ESPECIALLY MY OPPONENTS ….WANT TO TALK ABOUT!

Dear Sittin,

I just returned yesterday from a great three-day campaign swing through New Hampshire. Thanks, as always, for helping make our campaign possible!

Here’s what really struck me on this trip: how much my audiences appreciated it when I spoke to them about some ugly truths that no other candidate, in either party, is willing to address.

Some of these ugly truths?

For starters, the fact that we as Americans are rapidly losing our national identity, our national culture and our linguistic unity!

You and I know this is true. We see it every day, where we work, in our politics, and in our schools. (I talked to the folks in New Hampshire about a program in Oregon, where the state public school system is cooperating with education authorities in Mexico in order to offer Hispanic students in Oregon a Spanish-language curriculum that tracks with the curriculum they have in Mexico! Oregon taxpayer dollars at work!)

As deadly serious as these assaults on our culture and our national identity are, not a single other presidential candidate is even willing to talk about what is happening to our nation, and who is responsible!

That is an absolute tragedy…..and it is one of the reasons I am so committed to continuing to take our campaign’s message to the voters. The Beltway political establishment, its media and my opponents want to avert their eyes from what is happening to our nation, but I won’t let them!

I would really appreciate it if you could make a special contribution to our campaign today, to help give us the resources we need to continue to talk to the voters about the issues that I believe are critical to the survival of our nation. I can tell you that this is what the voters want to hear from candidates for president…..not Fred Thompson trotting out more one-liners or Rudy Giuliani talking, incessantly, about 9/11!

I deeply hope you can help with a special contribution today to help me make sure that we keep the issues of illegal immigration, amnesty and the preservation of our national identity front and center in this Republican presidential race! Thanks again, for your tremendous support and friendship.

Tom Tancredo

P.S. Recently, when he met with President George W. Bush, Mexican President Calderon made a statement to the effect that “Mexico has no borders……Mexico is wherever Mexicans are.” Needless to say, President Bush had nothing to say in response. Isn’t it time we had a president willing to push back and tell the Mexicans that for us, a border means business…..and that their country does NOT exist outside of its borders? Please try to send back a special contribution today so I can keep fighting for the values you and I hold dear!

I suspect that Duncan Hunter is willing to talk about it but they don’t need to fight between themselves.

God help us all - with the Muslims, you’ve got the Islamic fundamentalist ideology, but the Mexicans have the numbers.

Almost too late to save America from itself.

“I suspect that Duncan Hunter is willing to talk about it but they don’t need to fight between themselves”

I would bet that Hunter and Tancredo are friends.

He does need to stay in the race. Is there some feud going on between Tancredo & Brownback? Seems irrelevant. Brownback isn’t going to win, and pointing out his problems doesn’t really help America. (They might be good for Kansans to know.)

It's always been a secret and they want it to remain one......if the American people don't start ASKINGit will be swept under it all. EVERY candidate should listen to the 75% of Americans that want the illegal alien situation solve by current laws. The topic gets hot for a few days..then dies down. Anybody seen a brick, post, girder put up since?

Point, dude, but this isn’t 1880,

Correct. It is 2007 and we are still a nation that people love to emigrate to.

That hasn't changed.

and the Chinese didn’t immigrate illegally in THESE numbers,

The Chinese did not immigrate illegally because there were almost no legal barriers to immigration at all in 1880, as opposed to the stupid, antiquated quota system we have today. The reason why the Chinese didn't immigrate in even greater numbers is because racist Anti-Chinese Leagues pushed for severe restrictions targeting them.

and the Catholics (and I am one) didn’t suicide bomb

I'm Catholic too.

Catholics have never been suicide bombers in this country - but some German Protestants have been - the Haymarket terrorist bombers were from Northern Germany.

But what HAS changed is that now there’s all these entitlement programs and there’s such as thing as “illegal immigration” now. Then there’s the all the technological advances in terrorism...

But if you want immigration reform, forget that OTHER Catholic.

“But what HAS changed is that now there’s all these entitlement programs”

That’s EXACTLY right, and it makes a big difference in the way people should view immigration, both legal and illegal.

Unfettered immigration and a compassionate welfare system are incompatible.

We simply cannot afford to cloth and feed the whole world.

It’s good that Tancredo is coming out about this, but why does he say: “THE UGLY TRUTHS THAT NO ONE…..ESPECIALLY MY OPPONENTS ….WANT TO TALK ABOUT!”

Has he not heard of Duncan Hunter who has been more effective than Tancredo in securing our borders?

DUNCAN HUNTER actually had a fence built which stopped drug trafficking and crime in San Diego, and HUNTER authored the bill for a fence from California thru Texas, which was signed into law.

And DUNCAN HUNTER has been warning Americans about Communist China for a long time:

Duncan Hunter, 1/25/07

“I thought that Republicans didn’t appease communists, and that’s what we did,” he said.

“Today starts the time for choosing – for every American manufacturer and laborer. You can either choose to give into China’s cheating – or you can choose to join me to enforce fair trade.”

He’s been attacking illegal immigration from every conceivable angle, not just blowing smoke about it.

Chinese immigrants (”coolies” as they were known) were brought in to build the western railroads.

Like our illegal aliens of today, they were brought in because they were cheap labor....as the railroad companies refused to hire Americans to build RRs (hasnt changed...”jobs Americans wont do” BS)

Tancredo and Hunter never get the attention from the media...including so called “conservative” media

Really isnt much difference between PMSNBC and Mark Levin on this one....esp Levin who makes fun of Tancredo. Had to “get off his show” because of Tanc

You can tell if your fave talk-show host is truly a conservative by their attitudes towards Tancredo and Hunter. If they aint supporting them...they aint conservative

Hunter and Tancredo combined don’t usually poll outside the MOE of most polls. Their problem isn’t talking about things but rather getting the populace to get behind their campaigns and rise to the top. So far neither has been able to secure the support for their campaigns in order to move to the top level. They have only a short time to do so or else it’s fold your tent and go back home.

I know as you like to point out that Kerry/Carter wasn’t high in the polls either but this isn’t the democratic party we are talking about.
