Magic Bullets Discovered in Sadr City by AFP Photographer

Sometimes the propaganda is so obvious it’s almost funny.
An elderly Iraqi woman shows two bullets which she says hit her house following an early coalition forces raid in the predominantly Shiite Baghdad suburb of Sadr City. At least 175 people were slaughtered on Tuesday and more than 200 wounded when four suicide truck bombs targeted people from an ancient religious sect in northern Iraq, officials said. To make it even tastier, there’s another one from July 10, 2007, apparently featuring the same woman, holding another unfired round:

A woman displays bullets after a raid in Baghdad's Sadr City August 12, 2007. Two men were killed while nine others were arrested during a joint raid by the U.S. and Iraqi military forces in Sadr City early on Sunday, police said. REUTERS/Kareem Raheem (IRAQ)
In the first one, the cartridges where photo-shopped in (different sizing despite being in the same 'plane'. One on right, different lighting. One on left, slightly smaller. no reflections or shading on either casings or hand).
In the second, that is a ballpoint pen.
Thats the guess here too, but are they both the same?
Indeed. Are you aware that we apparently payout $$ to families in Iraq if we do accidentally kill civilians, certain conditions no doubt apply to when we do this. Anyway it creates an incentive to lie about each death in hopes of collecting $$.
“an incentive to lie about each death”
Heck,it’s an incentive to get rid of a few excess relatives!
Ha. That it is. That it is.
I’m just not sure how to talk those relatives into going to Iraq though.............
Has anyone considered that she might be a guy - terrorist drag IS a favored means of escape.
Yeah, those REALLY are magic bullets if they straightened themselves out and put themselves back into their shells after being fired at the house. Magic.
WOW!
Same here. They think a death by a thousand cuts and years of whining will get their way. We have a sign up at the local muni. Airport map, almost a cartoon, showing a "Noise Sensitive Area", Turn 45° at 400'.
Can you get a siren for a piper cherokee? There is a glider tow plane there with a climb prop the weenies must really love.
Oh I'm sorry...I should be asking how high is up?
They have perfectly good rifles for that.
If they're not going to use the equipment we give them for the purpose intended, then by-God, they can all just bring their butts home. /sarc
How dare you all illuminate the story flaws. The only thing that counts is the intent of the propagandist—to portray American soldiers as wonton in-cold blood killers. For shame.
Yup, looks like AFP (Agence France-Presse) got faked or is the faker.
