Paula Zahn has resigned from CNN. Zahn hosted CNN's 8pm ET program, Paula Zahn Now.
The departure comes just one day after Campbell Brown signed on with CNN. TVNewser joined a conference call around this time yesterday, in which CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein introduced Brown as his network's newest on-air hire. Klein promised an announcement about Brown's primetime program would be made "over the next several days."
Zahn joined CNN in 2001. Her first day on the air was September 11, co-anchoring coverage of the 9/11 attacks with another new hire at the time, Aaron Brown. Later that fall, Zahn began hosting American Morning. From 1999-2001 Zahn anchored a primetime show on Fox News Channel called "The Edge."
Not white out?
Fixed that for you.
Well, she did leave herself an opening by saying that she wasn’t leaving television, but would talk about that at a “later date”.
I was just noticing that she didn’t “devote” much time to her family and expected baby, before it was announced that she would be going to CNN.
You’re right. The heart-tugging spin she put on it about her reason for leaving amounted to a lie. She’s leaving because she didn’t get to replace Couric on the Today Show, and she thinks the CNN move is more advantageous. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but it doesn’t sound as warm and fuzzy.
LOL. That too.
In the last year, I've detected a few moves in the fair and balanced direction. Glenn Beck is a move in the right direction; however, I wish CNN Headline News would go back to their old every 1/2-hour headline news format. CNNHN now seems redundant to CNN.
GLENN BECK to CNN!!!
Well...he was a Louisiana politician, after all.
Looks like a hammerhead shark...
Too skinny legs - always such a waste - sigh....
I hate to break this news to you, but those fantastic gams are really implants. They are as phony as most the boobs you see on TV nowadays. I know, the use of "gams" really dates me. Oh well, deal with it.
I remember Paula Zahn dancing with Rush Limbaugh one time on CBS.
I like your tooth metaphor. I was thinking “bloom is off the rose”
Google can be your friend...and it can also lead one down unintended paths...
Simply Googled Paul Zahn -— that yeilded Paula Zahn separation/divorce...

Another article here with some very salacious comments by readers:

I initiated the search to learn her background/work history — and found several articles were about the very recent revelation of her alleged “extramarital” relationship...
I suspect the marital problem was listed near the top of the search - since it is so recent and perhaps because it received the most hits from recent searchers.
CNNs eye candy has become long in the tooth.
Man, don’t use CNN and candy in the same sentence!!!!! Talk about a dog (candy crowley, CNN)!
Someone’ll prolly post a photo next.
They sniff that....
Everything has its purpose....
Oh well. I never cared very much for Paula Tooth.
No rational thinking person is ever going to take their News product seriously. That so especially after all of their outrageous abandonments of objectivity concerning the Palestinians and pre war Iraq for example.
On the other hand, I might consider watching a program where Paula Zahn would just sit there with her mouth shut.
