Ron Paul’s out of his mind.

Giuliani may be a liberal, but he's also a patriot. If he's a patriot, he's misguided. He's in favor of breaking down the Constitution instead of deporting the threat and closing the borders with firepower.
This is my personal litmus test: if a candidate is for the unconstitutional provisions of the Patriot Act, he's a threat to our freedom. The only way to be pro-security and be against the spying clauses of the Patriot Act is to plan on and actually carry through with mass deportation.
It's coming, or this country will be destroyed. Those who refuse to discuss it, are only prolonging our suffering. And any candidate who has ever been pro-gun control is also off my list. At a time like this with weasels running both parties, we absolutely must retain our second amendment rights.

No, that isnt correct. There have been five properly declared wars in US history. The War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Spanish American War, WWI and WWII.Yes, I am correct. There is NO method or madness in the United States Constitution for declaring war. If there was you would have already quoted it.
If COngress wants to authorize a war it has to actually declare, not delegate its war powers to the President with some limp wristed authority.
Incorrect. Congress authorizes, the CIC executes. Ever it was and hopefully, ever it shall be.
What you and your fellow travelers do by beating the declare war horse is let the gutless Congress off the hook every time. I repeat Congress authorizes war, the CIC executes that war. The actions in Iraq and Afghanistan were not Saturday Night at the Movies, they were and are wars. Congress exercised it's war powers by authorizing same and the CIC is executing. The current Congress has passed unconstitutional legislation, vetoed by the POTUS, impinging on the Executives War Powers. You have it exactly backwards just like Ron Paul.

I told you that I was on this thread to LEARN what took place at THIS particular debate. I have yet to read one of your posts that was on topic of tonight's debate. Nothing more or less!!!!! I don't know why EV's copy/paste jobs aren't considered thread SPAM, when they have no direct relation to the topic of the thread. At a maximum they should be links to outside sources.

al-Qaeda is that country right next to “The Barbary Pirates”.
You know...the Arab Terrorists that declared war on us and that we “handled properly”.
Now run along back to DU and get more Liberal talking points.
I spent a year in Iraq...while you were sitting back here enjoying the safety myself and other soldiers provide you.
You have nothing more to offer me in this debate with your uninformed insepid drivel.

After 9/11, if I was in charge I would have asked the Taliban for OBL and his supporters. We did.
It was in an official State Department communique and also in the speech to Congress.

Wow, he’s completely mad.

I also think it gives Ron Paul supporters and DU way too much credit to say that they're behind this. This is much too organized for it to come from a Paul campaign, or DU.
On the brighter side, the Warriors are up 50-46 with 2:15 to go in the 2nd.

What is your issue with Dr. Paul? You dont like the fact that he wants to address WHY people are upset with us instead of just killing them all Bush style?
I never said anything about having an issue with Dr. Paul in that post. I said that he destroyed whatever chance he had of winning the nomination, because there are very few Republicans who will tolerate, much less approve, of Paul's point of view on this issue. I was simply stating how I believe this debate will effect his campaign.
That said, yes I do have an issue with Dr. Paul, and I don't like the fact that he wants to address why our enemies are upset with us rather than fighting them. If Ron Paul wants to play Neville Chamberlain with Islamists, then he can do so without my vote and without my support. I think I can safely say that most Republicans agree with me.
