I can see into the future as well / If America don’t wake up soon we will be a 3rd world socialist toilet of a nation within the next 4 to 6 years. Mark my words .

But on the matter of psychokinesis, the fact that April 15 comes and goes every year without a massive dying off of federal bureaucrats/lawmakers (or even a statistically significant blip in accidents) pretty much rules this out. Well, also, the fact that Bush hasn’t had any problem shows at least that wacko leftist hatemongers have no psychokinetic ability.

Quantum physics has opened many doors into the nature of Time - but the social order can’t survive too much investigation into what lies beyond. Except vicious attempts to suppress such research, if it ever bears fruit.

I know this can happen because it happened to me. I saw in a “dream” something that happened 3 weeks later to the specific person, in the place, and at the event I had seen. It involved a death. Fortunately the morning after the dream I told someone...otherwise, I would have ended up thinking I was imagining things and going crazy. This never happened again, for which I am greatful.

In technical parlance it is known as 'presentiment' because emotional feelings are being received from the future, not hard facts or information.

Perhaps better stated this way: In technical parlance it is known as 'presentiment' because whatever information is being received about a future event is mediated through the parts of the brain responsible for emotions.

I believe some of us may possess a highly refined sense of logic, much of which operates subconsciously, and my be able to draw conclusions based on extended projections of cause and effect.

If I (or anybody else, for that matter) push my coffee cup over the edge of my desk, I can 'foresee' that it will fall to the floor. I'm not really predicting the future, just making logical conclusions based on known facts. Perhaps some people just have an extended capacity for projecting the likely outcomes of a known set of facts and circumstances....

The aircraft which flew into the Twin Towers on 9/11 were unusually empty. All the hijacked planes were carrying only half the usual number of passengers. Perhaps one unusually empty plane could be explained away, but all four?

I don't have the numbers to prove it, but I believe this is bogus. The author is probably comparing the average number of passengers over time to the number on these particular flights.

9/11 was a Tuesday, the lowest-volume travel day.

If you want a real comparison, you need to compare the numbers of passengers on 9/11 to the average number on Tuesday flights, not to the overall average.

Average number of passengers also fluctuates over the course of the year, and the middle of September may be lower than average.

I have a garage sale going on today and I’m offering up the Brooklyn Bridge at half price. Won’t last long. I can see the future and I’m rich.

And it wasn't just on 9/11 that people subconsciously seemed to avoid disaster. The scientist Ed Cox found that trains 'destined' to crash carried far fewer people than they did normally.

Were there fewer people than normal in that classroom building at Virginia Tech?

John 16:13. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

According to this statement by Jesus, the Holy Spirit is able to show us “things to come”. Every Christian can tap into that if they so choose.

No.

Thought exercise

Assume that someone does have some limited ability to see the future. Also assume that somehow the scientific community could “prove” that such ability is possible.

Now, physics question.
How would information travel back through time?

“’gut feelings’ and instinct” exist because the human mind has powers far beyond
those of which we are aware. They are not supernatural powers. They can not see into the future.
They use information of which we may not be aware, and exist to aid in the survival of the individual.

To settle the question for now and always, “seeing into the future” is a set of words that corresponds to no reality. It’s impossible. Experiments can not prove the impossible.

There is something called causality. One action causes another. The cause precedes the effect.
This is a principle that is self-evident. It needs no proof.
Because of this principle, “seeing into the future” and “going into the future” are impossible.

I’ve had mornings that I’ve woken up and thought ‘I need to be extra careful today on the drive in to work’, or felt a shudder as a car drove by and I thought ‘That guy is going to have an accident or cause one’. I’ve had many instances where have been at a stop light and a gut instinct says ‘wait an extra second or two before moving on your green light’ and sure enough some bozo flies through his newly red light exactly when I would have been there. I don’t attribute it to anything supernatural because I believe there is a scientific explanation for everything (one of God’s gifts to us is the ability to eventually solve his mysteries scientifically, I believe). It does make one wonder about the nature of time and whether or not some of us are more finely attuned to it than others.
