Gunman on Campus; Stay inside your building, away from windows; Shooting incident at West Ambler Johnston Hall

I am willing to predict this will happen again soon as since it was a successful attack the terrorists will probably make it part of their teachings.
NP :)
That would translate into Bush being right and you know they will never allow that. This will be a lone gunman who if we had gun laws would have never been able to do this.

The Hui nationalities is one of official 55 “Minority Nationalities” in the PRC. Basically the only thing that distinguishes the Hui people from the Han people (Chinese) is their practice of Islam. While we most often think of the Muslims of China living in Northwest China, the Hui are scattered throughout China. If they aren’t wearing their Muslim attire, you really couldn’t distinguish them from the Han Chinese.
Yep, 2% of 1,300,000,000 billion people is 26,000,000. I’m not sure what the percentage of the population is Hui.
Did you catch the reports that he was a (PRC) Chinese national here on a student visa?
Yep, a desire for the security and response time of some kind of police state...without any additional costs or loss of freedoms of course :)
“There is no way to stop a determined killer from creating havoc in a public place.”
Sure there is.....
One...
JUST ONE(!!!) legally armed student could have ENDED this situation, and saved DOZENS of lives.
Instead, this was a Liberal-Mandated “Gun-Free Slaughter Zone”, and a student with the stones to actually CARRY a legal weapon on Campus was being threatened with EXPULSION...
The lesson her, YET AGAIN, is that:
LIBERALISM KILLS
I’d think by now forensics could say if the bullets that killed the girlfriend and RA were one in the same as the other 32 victims.
Prayers out to all.
Milford, do you recall the forged visa’s from a couple weeks ago, was that in Singapore?
I remember reading it, but not all the details.
Or you let law abiding citizens carry arms for their own defense, and defense of an innocent 3rd party.
ARe you another anti-gunner?
WTF? Hes here only eight months, and in that time phones in three bomb scares to test security, gets two illicit firearms, an ammo vest (and possibly Kevlar), plus a stack of magazines and ammo?
Something is VERY wrong here. There HAS to be more to this guy.

Yep.
How does a Chinese national on a student get two hand guns, and all the ammo? You need a green card to legally buy one (last I checked). I knew an Irishmen who was here on a green card who was able to buy a rifle, but only if it was shipped back home to his local gun shop.
So why did he call in the bomb threats to check security, chain the doors, have a flak jacket and file the numbers off the guns. This was not a jilted Chinese student. This was planned to the last detail.

So an overstay on a student visa (that means illegal alien),
commits a crime and illegally buys stolen guns,
which are used to kill unarmed students,
who were legislativly disarmed and prohibited from self defense,
who were dependent on a keystone kampus kops and a dipsy college administration which were too slow to declare an alert,
which means
democrats will make us safer by disarming us.
Exactly. And that fast. It smells.
No prob, glock rocks. Sometimes it takes a couple posts to understand what people are actually intending to convey by their words, but if we’d all assume good intentions while seeking clarifications, this forum would be a happier place.
I need to take my own advice in that regard on occasion.
there was a gun show in Roanoke County this weekend. Says Michael, he could have purchased anything he needed there with minimal background checks.

Besides armed guards and metal detectors, my best solution is to arm the principal, vice-principal, instructors, and other bona fide employees.
My reasoning: Almost 60 years of watching the bad guys exploit weakness, they tend to target "soft targets" (no similar defense) institutions or venues.
This was the final straw. I'm a law abiding 57 year American citizen with 11 years Navy contribution and a law enforcement proponent. However, I'm thinking I may start concealed carrying here in California, with or without California's permission.
Granted, this sort of thing is not that frequent, but I'm not going to wait unitl some domestic or foreign terrorist pulls a AK-47 at my local mall. If you can't protect mine from these maniacs, then I will. There I said it, and it's on record.
BTW, BATFE, FBI, and others, my weapons are all legal within federal and CA state laws. Feel free to put me on your list. Just know that the average citizen is getting tired of seeing this. And no matter how many gun laws are imposed, the bad guys will continue to have access. The deterent? Arm all good citizens.
I’m watching HGTV. I’ll wait until there’s more light and less heat about the Virginia Tech story. I’ll pick it up again tomorrow.
The student who did the filming is a Palestinian, a former resident of Saudi Arabia and student at Virginia Tech according to an interview with him. If I were the police I would like to talk to him for a bit. He was right outside the facility when the shooting started.
I dont imagine they will be able to find him...if they didnt hold him. He was signaling his masters...
