RESOURCE LINK for March 17th: Counter ANSWER's march from the Wall to the Pentagon

The purpose of this thread will be to pool our resources and ideas to counter the attempted take-over of our nation’s capital and foreign policy.

It is not the place to voice your disgust with those that feel it is necessary to present a street presence to counter the dregs of society seeking to undermine and destroy our country and our leadership. If that is your purpose, please move along.

On January 27, 2007, Thunder90 posted a thread to advise us of the next convergence on our nations capital by the anti-American hate-mongers. This gives us SEVEN WEEKS to organize and strategerize.

While reading Thuder90’s thread and the AAR from the DC Chapter’s counter demonstration last Saturday, January 27th, you will find inquiries in regard to transportation, hotels, metro lines and the like. There were also a number of Freepmails discussing these issues.

For those interested in making our presence known in Washington, DC on March 17, 2007 please feel free to offer what you can.

· If you are driving and have room for others, let us know the general vicinity you will begin the trip. I have an offer now of someone willing to pay for half the gas to share a ride.

· We already have offers of rooms/beds for those that need a place to stay. We can always use more!

· Perhaps you can rally enough interest in your area that renting a van or chartering a bus would be worthwhile. Let us know and we will see if that can be arranged.

· Those that live in the greater DC area or will have a vehicle at your disposal may be able to help shuttle folks from hotels or metro stations.

· Those that have blogs, talk shows, columns or access to others that do – please share!

The Vietnam Wall.

No matter what their "annoucements" they have said- their "Beginning" march will be AT the Vietnam Wall and Constitutional Gardens there. And thus will BEGIN their so called "peaceful" rally against what they call " The Invasion of Iraq" . And from there to plan to march to the Pentagon-( some things NEVER change with them!) ina Re-enactment of the Vietnam March of 67'.

--Of Course to them - the IRAQI Invasion is called "Illegal": ONLY AFTER the WORLD Body had given Saddam/Iraq 14 resolutions-(Ending with Resolution 1441 which Saddam Verbally said he would Not accord to!) had been giving U.N. WEAPONS INSPECTORS the Run-a-Round & FIVE MAJOR TIMES were Kicked Out Physically from continuing U.N. Weapons Inspections and nuclear site inspections. The various Infractions of Firing at U.N./U.S. planes over Iraqi's "No-Fly" zone- and the many other infractions Saddam went against made BY the International body.And OF COURSE- The Beginning Findings/Reports of OIL FOR FOOD 31 BILLION STOLEN By Saddam/ U.N. Members and those Democrats controling such programs who KNEW of the Graft/corruption and said NOTHING!( Since it was their CHERISHED U.N. after All!)

Of Course-democrats and liberals would also be the same to ;Hitler's INVASION of POLAND, March into FRANCE a "Peaceful March" Too- and Had they been more vocal -they would have been calling the Allies Invasion to Liberate France a " ILLEGAL INVASION" too. On March 17, 2007, the 4th anniversary of the start of the criminal invasion of Iraq, tens of thousands of people from around the country will descend on the Pentagon in a mass demonstration to demand: U.S. Out of Iraq Now!

2007 is the 40th anniversary of the historic 1967 anti-war march to the Pentagon during the Vietnam War. The message of the 1967 march was "From Protest to Resistance," and marked a turning point in the development of a countrywide mass movement.

We will assemble at 12 noon at Constitution Gardens

So...those who oppose AMERICA as a REPRESENTATIVE, CAPITALIST, Gov't FREE from GOV'T Controling Our Lives and those who oppose Our Nation and our Culture based on ELECTED Leadership OF the People and BY the PEOPLE ! After discussions on the original thread and a few FReepmails, the RESOURCE LINK thread was posted in an effort to pool our resources, deternime who would be willing to counter-protest the commies and to coordinate rides, housing etc.

The idea seemed to upset more than a few and was abandoned. However, ideas, suggestions and public service announcements continue to be posted.
