Tonight's "John Ziegler Show" on KFI 640AM in Southern CA played a clip from Senator John F Kerry's appearance at Pasadena City College with candidate Phil Angelides, Democrat for CA governor.
At the event, Kerry had this to say about our brave military volunteers:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
D'oh. Yes, you're right - it;s an "N" of course. From the orignial photo's angle it looked like an Aleph.
What archaeologists will find in 1000 years when they find Kerry's grave..
You're right!, only the *hole has to be larger!
OIY..why must our hero, ally and primary supporter open his mouth BEFORE the election?? Does he not know the plan is to say this stuff AFTER the dems are elected????
I wonder how many homeless people we can fit into all those places. :-)
Just heard that Nancy Pelosi has asked Theresa Keinz Kerry to help decorate her new offices...
How did he go in that way???
Here it is. This bastard Kerry hates the military.
This shocking, but hardly surprising statement, from the man who secretly met with the enemy during the Vietnam War and who was declared a hero of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam by that government, tells of a man who has absolutely no respect for men and women serving in the United States military.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, SFC Paul Smith was so dumb, he persisted in manning his .50-caliber machine gun under horrendous heavy automatic-weapons and rocket-propelled grenade fire to save his brother soldiers (100 of them), an act that cost Sergeant First Class Smith his life.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, Sgt. Rafael Peralta was so stupid, he threw himself on a grenade to save his brother Marines, an act that cost Sergeant Peralta his life.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, Cpl. Jason Dunham was such a moron, he threw himself on a grenade to save his brother Marines, an act that cost Corporal Dunham his life.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, PO2 Michael Mansoor was such an idiot, he threw himself on a grenade to save his brother SEALs, an act that cost Petty Officer Mansoor his life.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, Capt. Brent Morel was so imbecilic, he continued to fight while greatly outnumbered and under horrific grenade, mortar and machine-gun fire to save his brother Marines, an act that cost Captain Morel his life.
To "Hanoi" John Kerry, the hundreds of thousands of American men and women who served in Iraq, tens of thousands of whom were wounded, are mindless dolts with sub-standard educations who, apparently according to the traitorous, pompous senator, get whatever they deserve because they are half-wits.
What do you suppose their reaction would be if "Hanoi" John went to Iraq and told a bunch of military personnel they are witless chumps?
Then again, "Hanoi" John voted to send them to Iraq in the first place. He clearly realized back then that they are so stupid, they would actually follow their orders and go.
Violet: I got a candy bar and some gum. What did you get Charlie Brown?
Charlie Brown: All I got was a rock.
Violet: How did you get John Kerry's brain?
Up on Drudge now:
FLASH: McCain Calls On Kerry To Apologize
Apologies won't cut it--We know how he feels.
LOL! I think I'll leave my comments at that, but I bet you can guess what I'm thinking.
One of them autographed a book for my husband. (Not to mention that my own soldier is a college educated, high IQ, remarkable man!)
The Kerry camp has issued a press release response to the on-going flap:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 31, 2006
Statement of John Kerry Responding to Republican Distortions, Pathetic Tony Snow Diversions and Distractions
Washington Senator John Kerry issued the following statement in response to White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, assorted right wing nut-jobs, and right wing talk show hosts desperately distorting Kerrys comments about President Bush to divert attention from their disastrous record:
If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they're crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. Im sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did.
Im not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Foxs Parkinsons disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me that these Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have.
The people who owe our troops an apology are George W. Bush and Dick Cheney who misled America into war and have given us a Katrina foreign policy that has betrayed our ideals, killed and maimed our soldiers, and widened the terrorist threat instead of defeating it. These Republicans are afraid to debate veterans who live and breathe the concerns of our troops, not the empty slogans of an Administration that sent our brave troops to war without body armor.
Bottom line, these Republicans want to debate straw men because theyre afraid to debate real men. And this time it wont work because were going to stay in their face with the truth and deny them even a sliver of light for their distortions. No Democrat will be bullied by an administration that has a cut and run policy in Afghanistan and a stand still and lose strategy in Iraq.
