Part one shown on Australian TV this evening.
Don't miss it, my Freeper friends. It's no wonder the Clintonistas have thrown everything at ABC/Disney, in a desperate effort to have the miniseries cancelled. Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:
...are there any men left in Washington? Or are they all cowards?....
Take the phone off the hook, and don't miss it. All the best, Byron
ROTFLMAO!!!! BEST COMMENT EVER ABOUT DUMMIES!! This is why FR is wise to ban profanity--people are forced to be so much more creative and ROTFLMAO funny if they have to use formal English the great way you've just used it.
I was at work that day and missed all of the breaking coverage. I was getting all my info off the internet which was not easy because of the traffic that morning. The only site that was working seemed to be Drudge.
Thank you! I plan on watching from southern Wisconsin this evening. BTTT!
Kansas! And they're going to let them celebrate Ramadan or whatever it's called.
......My question is WHY did ABC/Disney tell the truth?.....
Ditto. I've been looking for my Taliban Micky graphic to remind folks of the disdain we once held for the ABC network. We even had posters of Iraqi Propaganda Office for placement on ABC affiliate entrances.
What happened? is a very important question.
ABC will make more money if it airs the unedited version. ABC will rake in profits if it tells the truth. ABC will rule TV land if it can stand up to the dems in congress.
I think you got it.
I'll add a related point: One of the most essential elements in the Clinton's power is/was FEAR. Trying to block this program, and FAILING to do so, takes that fear away from others as well. Once the fear is gone, and it becomes clear that money can be made, the stampede will begin.
This line of reasoning may even explain why ABC decided to run the story: The moonbat wing of the Democratic party is now in control of their party, and these nutcases are very down on Hillary for continuing to "support" the troops in Iraq. For many of these lunatics, bringing down the Clintons is a way to further cement their control of the Democratic party.
Certainly true; much of the blame does rest with his shoulders.
I just don't like saying he is directly responsible. But, no doubt his failures and cowardice largely were contributors to allowing Al Quada to grow.
His response of NOTHING to the Cole really was outrageous.
Yeah, that's part of the movie. Unless ABC really did a hatchet job it should air.
It's really easy to see why Bill Clinton is seething with anger and rage. Everything is always about him. And this time it's about him, but he doesn't want it to be about him!
He's so used to being able to control this and control that, so when he can't control or regulate something, he goes berserk!
Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible. I just found myself getting really annoyed at how much time was given over to various CNN employees, almost all of whom just happened to be in the right place at the right time, to reminisce about how well they covered the story.
IIRC, it does have Bush's entire post-attack speech to Congress at the end, without any commentary. Parts of that may be useful.
If the Dems really felt so strongly about this they should refuse to do any interviews with ABC.
well, if it was sweeps week I would say ABC is going to get the lions share of the viewers.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll watch tonight.
LOL. Yep!
The Cole segment is not set to air until Monday night. From what I heard they did show part 1 to a group of people. That was when Ben Venista went nuts. Since they could not air the whole thing to them in one sitting they were all given a DVD of the part two when they left.
They're trying to spin this somehow. The best they can do is say: "Haha, it was on your watch". Which is pretty close to what the 9-11 Commission was all about anyways.
Like Rush says, the public is not as dumb as the libs would have us be.
When he said it the DBM praised him for his legal evasion. If Bush had said it...well we know how they would have portrayed him.
I want the Dems to attack Disney with all their weapons. It will show their true colors to the whole world even more clearly. It's incredible that people could still be on the fence about them, but I think many Americans still don't see the creeping evil that the Democrat party has become.
I hope that ABC stands up to them and shows the entire version tonight rather than a heavily edited one.
I know the uncut version would become a cult classic, but IMO it would still have limited effectiveness compared to the entire country seeing the truth.
I am purposely not pinging Aussiebabe, because they have a lot of other pings from this morning.
