Former US president slaps down 'subservient' Blair (Peanut head)

Former US president Jimmy Carter lashed out at British Prime Minister Tony Blair for being "so compliant and subservient" to the Bush administration in Washington.
"I have been surprised and extremely disappointed with Tony Blair's behaviour," Carter told the Sunday Telegraph newspaper as he promoted his new book "Faith and Freedom."
"I think that, more than any other person in the world, the prime minister could have had a moderating influence on Washington, and he has not," said the 81-year-old former head of state.
He faulted Blair for not having been a constraint on US President George W. Bush's decision to invade Iraq in March 2003 -- an invasion which, he said, subverted the fight against global terrorism.
"We now have a situation where America is so unpopular overseas that, even in countries like Egypt and Jordan, our approval ratings are less than five percent," said Carter, who was in the White House from 1977 to 1981.
"It's a shameful and pitiful state of affairs, and I hold your British prime minister to be substantially responsible for being so compliant and subservient."

The Traitor speaks again! Someone given him a straw hat, some overalls and a reed of long grass to dangle from his lips and send him back under a tree in Georgia.
This loser has constantly violated all protocol of being an ex-president by attacking a sitting president and now even allied governments. And this is the dumbass who constantly accuses Bush of ALIENATING allies even as he insults one of our most important??
And please note this man speaks glowingly of the former North Korean tyrannt, Kim Il Jong, yet attacks a brave and stalwart ally like Blair. I guess Jim Bob is just jealous Bush actually has foreign allies, unlike him about whom the world thought was such a laughing stock they'd do nothing for him or our country during his watch.
I have more respect for Clinton than I do this asshat.

let the French feed him.
To get to France he'd have to go across the channel and hopefully they'd make him swim [that would be one way of getting rid of the hateful coot]

Carter is simply one of those wannabes who found the key to gaining acceptance by the intelligencia: Say bad things about your country. If you say positive things about a group, a party, a company, a nation, you're not serious enough for the Noam Chomsky crowd. If you bash, then you're one of them, because you see through the lies and deception, to the truth that the world and everyone in it is miserable, bad, evil and just wrong.
The Left mainlines cynicism because they never left that high school moody-guy stage. Their souls are dressed all in black, and wear sullen expressions. To gain their regard, as Carter has, all you have to do is say "----- sucks".

"We now have a situation where America is so unpopular overseas that, even in countries like Egypt and Jordan, our approval ratings are less than five percent," said Carter, who was in the White House from 1977 to 1981.Two points:
- Leadership is not looking at polling information to determine what is the right path to take or policy to pursue.
- In countries like Egypt and Jordan a plurality if not a majority of the population think that the US and Israel conspired to crash aircraft in the WTC on 9/11. With ignorance like that - why would one care about approval ratings?

I just had a revelation.
This waste of food is doing this in order to make BJ Clinton look good by comparison, to pave the way for Mrs Clinton's run for the Presidency. She must have HIS file, too.

Hey jimmuh, hold it right there,
faith and freedom are to be removed from your vocabulary. You, single handedly have done more to help spread terrorism as the first "do nothing" lib pres who starts with a 'c'. Jimmuh...join the hezbo's...your a worthless P.O.S. and I fail to recognize you as being from the same country as I am!
