Thursday, July 13, 2006 Missile Attack on Haifa A barrage of Katyusha rockets has been launched at northern Israel, and for the first time one has reached the city of Haifa: One dead in Katyusha barrage in Nahariya and Safed. CNN has reported that at least one of the weapons was a long-range ballistic missile (not just a Katyusha rocket), fired by Iranian guards.

Possible. However, if you couple this with the attempt to transport the two captured IDF soldiers to Iran, it sure sounds like Iran is far more directly involved. That move could not have been pulled off without consent from Teheran, which makes me all the more ready to believe that Iranian troops could be participating in the action in So. Lebanon.
