I agree, it was unusual that they denied it. I was thinking that they denied it for one of two reasons. Either it was fired by a rogue unit operating without orders from the top, or they denied it because they feared what Israeli had threatened to do in reply.

True, but if another story pans out, the one where Hezbollah is trying to send the captured Israelis to Iran, then this thread will be redundant. Iran, in Israel's eyes, will have committed an act of war. Just as they did with us in 1979, only Jimmuh was our leader then.

I find it a little hard to believe that Iranian Military forces are openling attacking Israel from Lebanon. That would be a major escalation. Now could be some locals got their hands on an Iranian missile fired it up. But Iranian military? Maybe, but I kinda doubt it.
