Due to the range of the missile its only possible for it to be one of the ones supplied by Iran. We knew that from he outset. Where else did they except it to originate from?

OK...this is pure speculation, but maybe this conclusion was reached simply by verfication of the type of missile combined with other intelligence (e.g., Hizbullah would not have adequate training to fire this missile on their own, etc.,).

Let's hope the Patriots can knock down the incomings if they try missiles. To get aircraft to striking range of Israel they'll have to cross Iraq or Saudi Arabia. I'm pretty sure U.S. air assets (and the Saudis as well, if they have any sense) will be looking hard at anything headed west from Iran.
The best of all worlds would have a nuke armed Iranian cruise missile knocked off course by defensive fire taking out Damascus. < /wishful thinking >

OK, so the missile was Iranian. That isn't news... we know Hizbullah is armed by Iran.
The headline said the Iranian Guard fired the missile, but there is no story on that.
There's no link. There's no such confirmation.
Someone misinterpreted, perhaps at Fox News, from "an Iranian missile was used" into the inflamatory "Iran fired a missile into Israel" which didn't happen.
This whole thread is the breathless rehashing of an event that hasn't happened.
