I think Iran already has a Nuke and are goading Israel into incursions into Syria to create a semblance of an excuse to drop the nuke bomb on Israel.

Let's hope the Patriots can knock down the incomings if they try missiles. To get aircraft to striking range of Israel they'll have to cross Iraq or Saudi Arabia. I'm pretty sure U.S. air assets (and the Saudis as well, if they have any sense) will be looking hard at anything headed west from Iran.

The best of all worlds would have a nuke armed Iranian cruise missile knocked off course by defensive fire taking out Damascus. < /wishful thinking >
