Rumors of Osama bin Laden's death are greatly exaggerated and the al-Qaida leader is preparing his next video broadcast to be aired on al-Jazeera, reports an acclaimed Pakistani journalist who has interviewed him.
In an exclusive interview with Paul L. Williams, author of the new book, The Dunces of Doomsday, and David Dastych in Joseph Farahs G2 Bulletin, Hamid Mir says bin Laden is not only alive and well but in the process of preparing a video-taped appearance for al-Jazeera, the Qatari Arabian news network.

I see Farah is still hoping and praying that Al-Qaeda will acquire a nuke and blow up an American city.

I don't know much about this Farah guy, and the prior comments seem to indicate that he shouldn't be taken seriously. How much credibility should we be giving to this article and its assertion that Osama has nukes?
To: zarf
Yeah, Farah is a total loon.
He has been pushing these whacked out nuke stories for the past couple of years. So far the 30+ Al-Qaeda nukes have yet to go off nor has the Iranian EMP destroyed the United States.

I assume this Paul Williams is not Paul Williams the band leader, who recorded "Hucklebuck," one of the biggest hit records of 1949.

paul williams . . . wasn't that the guy with the blond bowl cut who played piano in the 70's.

"How much credibility should we be giving to this article and its assertion that Osama has nukes?"
From what is known and believed about OBL - IF he had nukes, what would he be doing with them? Would he be sitting on them or would he have tried to produce a "spectacular"? - the latter. A spectacular attack would give him [in his frame of reference] much greater boost than all the videotapes and rumors combined. Thus, if he has any nukes, he must have acquired them extremely recently.

I see Farah didn't have anything else to say, so he in effect recycled a past GeeWhiz bulletin to appease his paying suckers customers....

If that is inded his prayer, then I pray he is in that city.

A lot of people on this board think Farah is nuts, but if one or more American cities is ever nuked, I wonder what these Freepers will say then?

"Hamid Mir says bin Laden is not only alive and well but in the process of preparing a video-taped appearance for al-Jazeera"
It took many days travel on private luxury jet, truck, bicycle, camel back, barefoot and finally a memo lowered down a hole by goat hair string, but OBL finally got the new terrorist talking points from the Democrat Party.
The Democrats are now eagerly awaiting the product so they can critic OBL's terrorist speech delivery technique for their next terrorist political attack on the President which they are already working on.

Farah and Williams have been pushing their alarmist bullshit for the past two years or so. If bin laden had nukes he would strike. Nukes are perishable and prone to detection, so he certainly would not be sitting on them.

he easily could. There are still about 10 KGB suitcase bombs floating around out there. Some source (I wish I could remember whom) said on FOX that Al Queda claims to have 2 of them.

A 10 KGB bomb would be pretty bad, but we'd probably only lose about a hundred thousand people.
IMO if they had one, why don't they just blow it up here already. Its not like they can't just walk over our border. Plus if they get caught they could just blow up were they are and still do major damage.

Yeah, because Osama Bin Laden is the only Arab in the world with the money or desire to get a nuclear weapon. Our entire military should be dedicated to finding this one guy 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
