Rather, he likes to warn Americans about the dangers of AQ terrorists who have nuclear weapons and would like nothing better than to use 'em.

No, he just likes to sell his particular flavor of BS to the gullible.

Farah doesn't want American cities to be destroyed. Rather, he likes to warn Americans about the dangers of AQ terrorists who have nuclear weapons and would like nothing better than to use 'em. Quite a few FReepers think that Farah is basically exagerrating the possible threat. The reason why some say he "prays" for that is because he keeps warning us again and again.

Would you cite some evidence that Bin Laden has the bomb. If not it's a scare story for Campfire Girls.

You could check out this symposium and get the CDs for it -- listen to the speakers.

http://www.americastruthforum.com/symposium.htm

And then, you might read up on Hamid Mir. I just snagged this link real quckly. I'm sure you could find a lot of other links for further information.

You said -- "I see Farah is still hoping and praying that Al-Qaeda will acquire a nuke and blow up an American city."

He's never said that or indicated that. Rather..., that happens to be your "spin" on not liking him.

What he is doing is repeatedly warning on a particular topic that many in the news seem to want to ignore. The information is there. You only have to read it and listen to various people. There is a symposium going on this weekend on that very thing. Check it out or get the audio afterwards.

See my other posting (above) for that link.

You said -- "I don't know much about this Farah guy, and the prior comments seem to indicate that he shouldn't be taken seriously. How much credibility should we be giving to this article and its assertion that Osama has nukes?"

The other "comments" are the "spin" given to their own particular viewpoints. If you check out Farah, he's been in the newspaper business for a long time. He started his own online newspaper, because he saw that was the way things were going.

He's a Christian; he's been interviewed in many different places and on some Christian TV shows and ministries. He has that particular viewpoint to many of the news articles. I believe he's from Lebanon or of Lebanese descent. Everytime I refer to anyone like that I always think of Brigitte Gabriel (from Lebanon herself). Look her up if you don't know who she is.

You can look at his "stable of writers" -- as he has many different ones there. All in all, I think it's a good news site and I check it all the time, in addition to checking here at Free Republic.

You said -- "Yeah, Farah is a total loon."

It's interesting that you put it that way. Farah, being in the newspaper business for many decades and starting his own online newspaper, having a Christian viewpoint in his stories, too -- and featuring a lot of national writers -- speaking out against Islam and the evil religion that it is -- and from that -- "Farah is a total loon"??

Well, let me point out a total loon that Farah himself talks about. That's the President of Iran -- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Now, *there* is a "total loon" for you.

It's interesting that you describe Farah that way -- when it's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is the total loon and it's Farah that has been warning about him. Isn't that quite a "flip-flop".

And also you say -- "He has been pushing these whacked out nuke stories for the past couple of years. So far the 30+ Al-Qaeda nukes have yet to go off nor has the Iranian EMP destroyed the United States."

Boy..., those are "famous last words".

I can just see that kind of statement in some big Fortune 500 company's PR statement about their "security". They say, "We've never had our security compromised in over 15 years." And the next day it is compromised. Ha!

It's like -- since it has never happened -- it's never going to happen. Where do you get that kind of logic. Believe me, it's not for lack of trying by those "Islamics". When they say they are going to nuke the United States -- then I say you better listen and you better beef up the security and *make sure* it doesn't happen.

Security is not from saying "It's never happened in the last five years".... If that's your definition of security, let's make sure that you're not in charge of it.

You said -- "if he wants nukes we should send one his way"

Where has he said that he wants nukes? I have never seen that.

In fact, what I read is that he's warning people to be aware of this threat so that they can *prevent nukes* from being exploded here.

It's amazing that you can turn a warning about nukes being here -- into someone *wanting nukes* here.

Where on earth do you get such a thing?

You said -- "If that is inded his prayer, then I pray he is in that city."

Where do you get the idea that this is his prayer? Everything that I've read is that he want to *prevent* them from coming here -- and/or -- stop them if they are here.

I just don't know where you come up with that...

You said -- "A lot of people on this board think Farah is nuts, but if one or more American cities is ever nuked, I wonder what these Freepers will say then?"

I just have to think that the people who say that about Farah have some kind of negative personal agenda against him. I'm not saying that they know him personally -- but rather -- because of some personal issues they have (with something that he wrote or other people have written on his site) -- then they have some kind of personal agenda.

He has a lot of national writers on board his site and it's a good news site. And, he is also a Christian, gives a Christian viewpoint to many of the things that he (his news site) writes about. He has Christian writers on that site, too.

He will tell about things on his site that you will find scarce at other places. Why is some of this scarce at other sites and the mainline media? Well, it seems that a certain "political correctness" has invaded many places. And with Farah, he doesn't have that. And many times that results in some attacks against him. However, his information is valid and it's worth taking a look and and evaluating for oneself.

You ask what they would say if he's right. Well..., I've seen the kind of comment that you'll get from some who have a personal agenda against him. They's say something like -- "Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day."

And with that, they'll dismiss the whole thing. Some people simply do not want to get their head out of the sand (and in this case, it's the "sands of the Middle East").

You said -- "Farah and Williams have been pushing their alarmist bullshit for the past two years or so. If bin laden had nukes he would strike. Nukes are perishable and prone to detection, so he certainly would not be sitting on them."

Apparently you think that the longer you have for a "warning" the less valid it is. That's some kind of logic. Kinda weird, actually....

If you have a warning -- the prudent thing is to follow it up. And if that warning is exactly what your enemy says that he is going to do to you -- then *doubly* you had better follow it up. And if your enemy has already attacked before and destroyed things -- then *triply* you had better follow it up.

Apparently you like to dismiss things from your enemies until they *accomplish* their task. I suppose then you'll say "I never saw it coming..."

You said -- "HE's dead Jim"

The last information we had was that he was alive. How did he turn to dead? I never saw that announced by our government. And if so, why are they still looking for him?

His comments about how freely bin Laden moves around, even specifying the areas, makes this article difficult to digest.

To begin with, if bin Laden was alive and freely moving about as suggested by this article we would have known about it long before WorldNetDaily printed it. Also, as much as a symbol as bin Laden is, if this information were true bin Laden would have been killed long before WorldNetDaily found this out.

This story seems more aimed at pushing a new book.

You said -- "This story seems more aimed at pushing a new book."

Well, then..., you've got the U.S. Government, the CIA and MI6 all promoting the same book. They all seem to think Osama bin Laden is still alive.

I have no idea where people come up with such strange ideas as bin Laden is dead. I suppose that their minds are so racked with confusion that someone like bin Laden can do so much -- that they *have to* proclaim him dead now -- no matter the fact that he's not.

He may be one of these days -- but he's not now. Our government doesn't think so. Britain's government doesn't think so. The reward is still out there for him. They're still *hunting* him. It's only in your own mind that he's dead.

Another note from G2 Bulletin --

MI6, Britain's secret intelligence service, has identified six Pakistani scientists working in Iran's nuclear bomb program who have been "advising al-Qaida on how to weaponize fissionable materials it has now obtained."

MI6 and the International Atomic Energy Agency believe the scientists have played a major role in enabling Iran to be "well advanced in providing uranium enriched materials for nuclear bombs," said Alexander Cirilovic, a nuclear terrorism expert in Paris.

Both high-level MI6 and CIA sources have confirmed the scientists would only have been allowed to assist al-Qaida with the authority of Iran's unpredictable President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The revelation comes at a time when Washington has increased pressure on Tehran to give up its nuclear weapons program.

The scientists worked for Dr. A.Q. Khan, the "father of the Islamic bomb," who is now under house arrest in Pakistan after confessing he had provided both Iran and North Korea with details of how to make their own nuclear bombs.

Keep fantasizing on his death. It hasn't happened yet...

Interesting..., I'll have to look further when I have more time.

BUT, a quick look caused me to notice a few things. For one thing, they deny the Rapture, which is clearly taught in the Bible. Now, there are other Christians who deny this, too -- but that doesn't make it "not true" -- simply because a certain segment of Christianity denies it. I believe the denial of the Rapture is one part of the end-times deception that will go on.

And then, there is another thing I noticed. That group *denies* that there are *three groups* talked about in the Bible -- and spoken to in the Bible. Those three groups are (1) the Jews, (2) the Church, and (3) the Gentiles. If you lose that three-fold division, you lose the ability to clearly understand what parts of the Bible are talking to what group. And then things get confused rather quickly. Keep that three-fold division (as the Apostle Paul refers to it, too).

Finally, it appears that this group is trying to *stretch* Bible verses and passages around current events -- to make them *fit* on top of these current-day events. It "sounds marvelous" -- until you realize that it's a stretch and it's allegorizing certain things, missing other parts and denying other parts. It's a *mish-mash* of mistakes.

But, even so -- with their mish-mash of prophecy-related items -- *at first glance* they do appear to have the *basis* for Christianity down (i.e., "salvation"). But, like I said -- this is *first glance*. I would have to look at it further.

There's no question about it -- though -- it's definitely outside of *mainstream* and *historic* Christianity. I don't think I would depend upon it for prophetic interpretation...

Regards,
Star Traveler

P.S. -- Also, when some preacher (or "rabbi") tells me that He's got a direct communication from God (i.e., something "private" to him alone) -- then I know something is wrong. God gave us the Bible which is 100% sufficient for all things. There is no need for "private communication" with "Yahweh" to get an answer. The Bible is there for that. God says that everything we need is in it. That's definitely a sign that something is wrong -- when we start hearing about these kinds of "private communications" with God.

"The al-Qaida leader is preparing his next video broadcast to be aired on al-Jazeera"

Dish network had better NOT be allowed to carry that channel. I'm telling you, it would become a country wide way to signal some attack from within.

I think at some point we need to extinguish al-Jazeera, not carry them on satellite in America.
